I've just started The Dark Ages. Took me a little while to get used to all the new shield mechanics and how heavy the movement feels compared to the mobility-focused Eternal. I keep wanting to avoid the projectiles when really the game wants you to charge in deflecting and blocking them. Agree on the giant mech stuff though. Feels like a misstep. It's kind of boring. Apart from that though, it's great. Just old school fun gaming.

I beat the hidden hardest boss in the game last night. Without spoiling anything, it's basically a piss take and nigh on impossible to beat unless you sit there for hours programming your muscle memory. The only option was to farm lumina and pictos to be able to put together a team and strategy to be able to one-shot him on the first turn in each phase of the fight.

I thought the story bosses were ridiculous, then you come across some of the end-game optional baddies and found myself reaching for guides to find pictos I'd missed to even have a chance of beating them.

Not sure what to make of Squid Game S3. So inconsistent. When it was good it was fantastic TV, when it was bad it was bafflingly awful.

You won't find many dissenting voices on here. The majority of posters feel the same. But FT isn't representative of the wider fanbase. Head on over to the comments section on any social media post and that'll give you an idea of how the average match going fan feels. Most of them are very much part of the "be careful what you wish for" perspective FC lot.

I absolutely love Bone Tomahawk. I haven't seen it in a couple of years but even though there's long sections of dialogue - I found it engaging and surprisingly funny. The script is great, and I could watch Kurt Russell all day long. That final 20-odd minutes, though. Man.

A bit like Percy recently, he's also been going in on the ownership over the last 12 months or so. We all know the club don't take criticism from journalists very well, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's been cut off.

People just need to accept this is where we are as a club. The good times are long gone. An owner that is in completely over his head and a board that has all but given up. We thankfully still have a squad that can do what's required in the nPower, but the heirarchy seem intent on giving them the worst possible chance by considering shit like this. It's been said before, but this is our last chance to get this right. **** this up and it'll be like 2004-2014 all over again.

Been absolutely battering Expedition 33. Now well into the endgame. The first act is a masterpiece. It falls away slightly towards the end IMO and the story becomes a little convoluted. The final act is very unbalanced however. I love that there's still so much to do once you reach the end of the story but many of the optional locations and boss encounters are absurd and it requires a lot of level grinding and pictos collecting to even touch some of them. It's pretty clear that they had a bit more planned and it was either cut or they'll release it as DLC. The Endless Tower is ridiculous. And I hate That aside it's definitely one of my favourite games of the past 5, maybe even 10 years. You know it's a great game when you think about it once you've put your controller down.
