I think some weapons have been restricted such as long range missiles however, if you sell weapons to ukraine then surely they’re able to do what they like with them? you can ask them nicely not to be careless re civilians/infrastructure but apart from that it’s their call?? if they do go strongly into Russian territory and Russia responds with larger attacks against Ukrainian targets in the west of the country then maybe that’s the cost - but it’s Ukraine’s decision. What must be pointed out to them is that if they raise the stakes of the war away from just being mainly regionalised in the east by these attacks on and into Russia, then they cannot expect NATO countries to assist more than they already are doing by supplying weapons. it’s a difficult situation and we don’t want to end up in a place where Russia genuinely feels that its sovereignty is threatened. whilst that is clearly a hypocritical stance, we have to avoid tactical nuclear weapons being deployed.

‘Needs must’ in our position If we’re relegated then I’d expect any ambitions player to want to leave if they’ve proved themselves at PL level if the club make a decent profit on them then we can’t really complain. if he’s a sig part of us staying up then even more reason not to be bothered - money in the bank from all angles. Just have to spend it wisely on ageing utility forwards !

You must have a very keen sense of smell ! if the donations were all registered then can’t see what the issue is there. Access to no 10 ….. I’m guessing that the explanation will be that it was a temporary arrangement because he was organising the thank you garden party for party donors. on a scale of what we saw under the previous administration it barely registers as an odour. I appreciate that labour do need to be careful as they will be judged to a higher standard as the last lot. of course if procedure hasn’t been followed then they do need to be hauled across the coals somewhat and they should be upfront in admitting it and committing to doing better in future.

I’m sure many of that squad with designs on management would want to have a go here. but firstly they’ve got to do their badges and get some high level coaching experience. and probably a managerial post at a lower level to prove themselves.

Two seasons of 35m and one of 13m gives them rolling three year allowable losses of 83m to end June 24. And will be 105m to end June 25. They were charged when their rolling available losses were 61m. They made a good few sales this summer and are currently approx level trading around €90m. That brings them a very decent amount of slack ref purchases.

Because there’s only a few days left in the window, If genk don’t need to sell him then they may just decide to stand their ground. Will only affect 1 round of games for them and he’ll have to come back apologising to all next week. this kind of thing is best done with weeks ahead in the window because it will affect the selling club far more.
