  1. We could loan them our sporting director too ……
  2. Spain ….. they are in the champions league and are part of the (Man) City group
  3. Word on here was that Sammi is going out on loan this season. I agree re alves but when you have 20+ first team squad members and can only name 18 there will always be some who miss out. I guess it’s either him or Casey who get named. Will Casey now get a loan to a championship club after his new contract was signed ??
  4. Should say that both Ricky and JJ do actually have a left foot (they trust) able to take the ball which trippier doesn’t seem to. Ricky also is happy to cross with his left on the run. JJ less happy to do that. A two footed full back is clearly the best option which is why prime Ricky was so good. If cooper can continue to get into VK’s head about him being good enough and to try to cut out his lapses on concentration then we’re not so desperate for a left back in the market although having three full backs may not be enough to cover the whole season.
  5. If he’s tactically/ mentally able then maybe although we’d probably need to wait for him to turn 16.
  6. I’m sure that there were a few scouts there last night wanting to see how monga got on against senior pros. They would have been reassured. His immediate future at our club will be dictated by his parents and his advisors. Does anyone know if the kid is down to earth or a bit arrogant - based on his ability he’d be entitled to be he latter! there is absolutely no doubt that a few of the big fish will be making approaches to his people - what we can do in the face of what will be offered is questionable. At least klopp is now gone from liverpool and no one knows if slot will be as keen to blood 16/17 y o. Pep has shown that he will but Man City’s pool of young talent is incredible. Yanited have been a mess but they may be sorting themselves out. No one with any sense is going to Chelsea. Arsenal have recently lost a big young talent to yanited but arteta has shown he will give youth an opportunity We can probably fast track some of the kids into the league cup squads because we have to show the really talented kids that this club will allow them to break through at 18/19. Whatever the reasons, we’ve not done that for a long time. You could argue that we did give alves a cameo at at MK dons just before his injury. That didn’t deter two of our best U17 from leaving the following summer. I think that fifa should become involved and perhaps look at banning transfers of U18 players where the holding academy don’t want to lose the player.
  7. The yacht had an extremely tall mast - in the face of a waterspout it was likely to go over. The reason it sank quickly was probably down to windows and doors on board being open - hot med summer night. Co incidences are precisely that. It’s why the word exists. If things like this didn’t happen then the word wouldn’t be in our vocabulary. the yacht sinking is not what should be looked at here - it’s the death of the fella in Cambridgeshire which was clearly not due to an act of god. Whilst that may have some dark connections, the sinking of the yacht does not.
  8. Derek Dougan
  9. Oh dear that’s poor defending someone stand over the free kick
  10. When is he due at Man City or Liverpool ? would be such a shame to lose another big talent
  11. That’s a brace against us then ……
  12. He was diligent and effective in his defensive cameo yesterday - I’d also like to see him get a season on loan in the championship where he’ll play most weeks
  13. It’s not impossible - I still think his reported wage is wide of the mark. When he resigned he was still recovering from his injuries and I can’t accept we would have given him more than 75k. (Unless there was a prior agreement pre injury which the club felt they had to stick to)
  14. It wasn’t if it was a boxing match then we’d not have made half time fortunately spurs were trying to score pretty goals and failed to create big chances when we got our moment after an hour we took it and then we saw how strange football can be for the next ten/fifteen minutes. They pretty much folded. The injury stoppage reset things back to where they had been.
  15. He does sometimes ‘sprint’ just at the wrong times and in the wrong places
  16. Whatever happened to good old fashioned partisan journalism ….. oh yeah - it’s still everywhere !
  17. The conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day over the Mike lynch yacht sinking now that it’s been revealed that his Co defendant died in a car accident on Saturday https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c74jzd22dkno fwiw, not even the CIA can summon up a water spout !
  18. Don’t think it helped that we had Bouba as the furthest forward in a position he didn’t seem to know. Does he break out or stay put ?? Two players in unfamiliar positions and I thought it showed. But we were backs to the wall for the last fifteen mins and that’s never easy.
  19. He intimated that there were ongoing negs so I doubt it’s someone we’re not aware of
  20. Our set piece defending first half wasn’t great - especially second phase too many spurs players left free
  21. Call the cops ! Amazmg whatt a bit of effort does!
  22. Too many square pegs in round holes now
