Leicester vs Birmingham - FA Cup - Match Thread

Younus needs to play wide then we can be sure he’s not good enough he’s certainly not able to play in midfield -
It’s worrying because unless you can scrum you’re always up against it to put an opponent to bed. How long will we be struggling for props ??

Which is why she’s the thickest person there …..

As predicted yesterday

I’m sure he said he’d an an op a couple of weeks ago in the sky interview

So we know Antwerp can just about afford the medical insurance on Dennis ….

Based on the two previous mangers, I guess we just need to look for a top coach whose recently had their teeth done -
I think Chelsea were involved with payments from outside the club under uncle Roman’s ownership. They cant brush that under the carpet. they could hit them with a huge fine rather than points deduction. Like several hundred million which effectively forces them to sell some players and perhaps a transfer ban of two seasons on incomings. I think Man City is so complex that it may never get resolved if they can’t find a specific charge where they’ve done something substantially wrong in their filed accounting then I reckon they’ll struggle to get anything to stick.

Just to add that these in season announcements can go either way remember Man City stating Pelegríni would leave and pep come in the week before we won up there in 2016. They dropped off big time after that announcement -

good call re alonso if they dont take him now then he’ll be off to Madrid in 2025 -
They all missed their chance Ross turned on Andrew - should have been Harry - that may have encouraged jaz to break cover with his theory on Harry

Given all the social media posts about sensi being just a few steps away from joining us, can we assume that Warwick Davis is doing the negotiating?

Took my middle lad to his first game aged 5. It was a cracking game - 5-3 v Bolton he spent most of the time counting the number of fans, complaining it was too cold and he’s scarred for life expecting every game to be like that !

I have no idea thats why I asked what the protocol is

Less than 72 hours before a game I wonder what the club protocol is on drinking before a match ?

I felt the same as you watching it initially but I think we need perspective that keeping the ball so long will make the opposition more likely to lose concentration or their discipline of shape. Of course it’s likely an accident of timing that we put those aggressive last few passes in when we do - if we didn’t have players in the right place then we’d probably recycle back through the phases again. Reminded me a bit of wilfs goal at Southampton Maresca would say that the final three passes are only possible because of the 39 that went before. Not something that can be proven either way. -
Unless he doesn’t because he needs to be on the bench at the weekend …… I mean the headline says one thing and the article another !

Our goal was the end of a 42 pass phase of possession whether we could have got stephy one on one and a lack of CB cover without needing all 41 of the preceding passes would be the question ?? -
We often see maresca change our set up at HT to deal with opposition tactics he must have expected that they would change things around second half. First ten mins after the restart we struggled with those changes and then I assume we tweaked a couple things and took back general control for the next fifteen to twenty. their attacking changes did for us because we didn’t cope - just as we didn’t at their place. This is the most frustrating aspect for me. We must have planned for a final ten min onslaught if we were a goal up. But bringing on younus into midfield surely isn’t likely to be a successful part of that plan? Some will argue that we were undone by a long shot which took a deflection- but momentum was building before that and the way they found space for the shot taking the ball from out wide without an effective challenge was dreadful.

Unless he’s unable to compete for legal reasons, trump will be the republican candidate his opponent is no doubt hanging on in there in the hope that the legal stuff intervenes - presumably being second would make her the nominee if he is forced out ? ordinarily you’d expect haley to drop out based on losing in NH - if she drops out and trump can’t stand then I’d assume there would be a new vote ??? but I think pressure from the party once she’s been annihilated in the next vote or two will make her leave the contest.

Irrelevant whether they do or don’t We’ll have to do it on a tight budget - as will many PL clubs. The market will be quite different.
