We don’t always see the lines drawn this season during the game I was watching and cooking so i missed that Without the Hawkeye system working we can’t know if a tight call is onside or offside. So you stick with the on field call - if it was a yard onside then it really would be shitsville for PGMOL so you go with the on field decision -
they decide the order based on the match situation I would front load and hold one big hitter till the end but then again, ZJ may expect that and defend with his line up accordingly. Tbh, it’s the Americans who have to front load and hope momentum gets their weaker players over the line

Claiming that you can see better than a calibrated system is strange the grass may not be cut at right angles either unless the var has made an error marking the furthest point on each player or when the ball is played then the system will be correct -

Spurs were sh1te v sheff u and nicked a win spurs were sh1te today and nicked a win their luck won’t last and it’s funny to watch their fans get excited ahead of the clocks going back -
Also ‘can we play you every week’ meanwhile the Americans have a good afternoon to give them a straw to clutch over dinner tonight

Well there’s no chance of it ever being an inhabitable continent given that sea levels are headed in the wrong direction - volcanic eruptions could see the odd island pushed upwards above the sea but that’s it You’d imagine that it must contain a lot of mineral deposits - wonder if we’ll see any attempt to start undersea mining ??

The intensity of the game had increased along with the athleticism of the players - but there has to be a tipping point. One wonders if the modern style to try and control the game also helps to preserve the fitness of your players -
if the Americans get absolutely hammered by a record score, will it motivate them for two years time or could the crowds there lose interest ?? You’d think the former - assume trump would issue a statement blaming hunter biden 😂
-
looks like yesterday afternoon destroyed the resolve of the Americans they fought back to be possibly 3-1 and then lost by one. They know when their goose is cooked. Whilst they’re used to fighting back as individuals, the idea that they can see the rest of their team doing the same is clearly beyond them. if the Europeans keep the heat on in a couple of the games then there’s no way back and they know it. Talk above about unrest re monies will only make things worse and this kind of stuff tends to come out when things are going badly
-
i think three matches made the 18th today three one puts by the European team made it a five point gap day when it could so easily have been 5-3 the Americans will be so low after an afternoon session they lost by a point when with about an hour to go they were briefly up in three of the four matches.

could have been better could have been worse

You’d expect enzo to be asked tomorrow at the presser - he may not know any more at this stage though if it’s season ending then he’ll be going back to Manchester. If it’s several months then he’ll stay here. If it’s uncertain then i think he goes back for his treatment. If he was to stay here for a fairly long term injury then that may indicate a likelihood of a deal being done next summer.

I hear you but I also know for sure that there is a significant number of our fans that simply don’t understand what we’re doing or don’t want to understand what we’re doing or can’t cope with what we’re doing due to it’s high risk nature

Rotherham : keep ball moved them around and eventually allowed mcateer to be unmarked at the back of the box. You don’t get the chance to play the long cross field pass to the free man unless you do the other stuff. norwich: they pressed high and we continually played out. Every now and again you get the chance to launch a long ball because their high press leaves some one on ones higher up the pitch and the defender only needs to switch off for a second to allow the attacker to get a run on him. Unless you’ve played out continually to draw the high press, you won’t get those one on one opportunity higher up. Those long passes only becomes profitable options because you’ve done all the risky stuff. otherwise they are generally going to be 50/50 at best. whilst enzo is our coach, this is how we will play. That doesn’t mean we won’t play long passes but unless we are under pressure they’ll be made when the player is either free or at worst one on one

Two people from leics arrested as part of the crooked house pub arson investigation

Many of the players will have thought that trying to play out would be impossible at anfield maresca will be happy that last night showed that it is possible and sometimes works at one of the best counter press sides in world football playing without winks and mads allows the players to also ask themselves how much better it could have been aswell. I think JDT will have a plan for us on Sunday

There will be plenty of games this season where he will be more than adequate and take the strain off others who are playing too much

He wasn’t competent for either team We got the dodgy yellows but he managed to fail to make the right calls for both sides -
I’m not seeing as much as a lot of you are so I’ll keep my powder dry for a while yet
-
two people agree with you
-
Klopp had told the ref before the game to look for him
-
On a serious note - does enzo really care if we go through ??? there’s a much bigger picture
-
For playing out ?
-
If the ref was as bent as some of you think then he’d have pulled back our goal for Marc standing on tsimikas’ leg (well clipping him) and he’d have given a pen against JJ he’s just a poor ref - nothing else
