Honestly, If at the start of the season you put all the squad players names into a hat and then drawn one randomly each week and it was their task to take that weeks training and games I don’t think we would be any worse of than we currently are. Forget the negatives around Marti But trying to find positives is a struggle on a whole, The biggest issue I have is the Rot will get greater and greater whilst he is at the helm. what doesn’t help is there doesn’t to me seem to be much hunger about the squad, You have multiple in the last year of the contracts taking a chunk home each month with one foot out the door and you have the other aspect where they are on contracts too long and they don’t need to care. Anyway get behind the team

So refreshing seeing this young man show the passion he has to win! puts some of the senior boys to shame to think he is on loan with no guarantee of being here past this season yet he genuinely looks like he cares what’s happening at our club!

I was around 15 rows below this incident and it actually made me physically upset having looked over and see CPR being given, Had a massive flashback to a personal matter! I pray for the person to be in good health and I do feel that incident warranted the game to be suspended also as I noticed a few Leicester players watching what was happening also

I was at the game and following that hearing his post match interview he says “Ive told the boys If we play like that we will get a lot of points in this league!” Unfortunately I think he’s delusional as we play like that and concede 16 shots each game we definitely won’t pick up “lots of points”. For me personally his choices in substitutes is baffling, Does anyone here feel the same disappointment when you see BDR getting warmed up without his bottoms on? Or Choudury entering the pitch whilst Riccy is twiddling his thumbs ? A striker being replaced by Daka who’s not scored in is it 2 years approaching!? He made a call in playing Okoli RB(who had a very good game) and Nelson CB( also Very good) But he’s set the team out to be defensive playing 2 CDMs and a 45 year old bloke that’s allergic to a forward Run. If we can get enough points to be safe this year I really want a fresh new approach with the youthful lads playing at the expense of losing a few points if it comes to that but I think as a fan base we will accept that.

You are correct, On that incident I’m happy with soumare’s decision to try and intercept the cross, if he wasn’t carrying his weeks wages down his shorts he would of got there making clean contact 😁.! Unless Vesty gave him a shout and in that case I still don’t blame in trying to keep vesty away from defensive duties.

Quick summary from the game I watched: Okoli- misplaced one pass horribly otherwise solid a vast improvement in defending. Walkadog- Pedestrian! Every time the play breaks down he visibly shows he can’t be bothered to make an effort in running back towards our goal, Unless he’s playing these wonder passes he’s so famous for then what’s the point. (Threat from set pieces aside) VK- Arguably Worse than what we’ve seen from LT this season, Seems to only know how to pass backwards also. Riccy- Has way to much unearned credit in the bank on this forum, His levels of performance are sad to witness as he really is a favourite of mine but I think he’s fell into the can’t be bothered bin. Winks- Gets involved until the going gets tough and then he checks out for the game. He should be ashamed of playing in the championship but at the minute he doesn’t even look good enough at this level. Soumare - With the ball although at a snails pace he was strong and was looking to go forward when he could. Frustrating again as he has the ability to drive through teams but gets weighed down by his wage packet slowing him down JJ- Could be argued that he looks the most “bothered” about the game he’s involved in which being on loan says a lot about the others, good enough for this level. Mav- got in a couple of good positions, That’s it. Fats- Is he amazing every single week? no, Does he keep trying to create amongst a group of uninterested blokes? Yes. Was also visibly upset after the game when speaking to Marti JC- He has an intelligent brain some of the runs he was making first half but not being spotted by team mates, no fault on him not being heavily involved.

The geezer went from playing triangles with JJ Rambo and Ricky to having Soumare BDR and hamza 😂 give him a break

Looks like im the only one that thought he had a decent first half, made a handful of clever runs in between the centre backs unfortunately his skill set whilst on the ball didn’t match the intelligence he had whilst making the runs but also brought others into play well and won a good few flick ons. He doesn’t look like scoring but it looks like it may stick when the balls punted up towards him

I really like Dave Allen but I feel that was a poor showing off the back of him taking this camp serious and being in the best shape of his career, Maybe now he’s got an en suite the hunger just isn’t there anymore. He will I’m sure end his career with a British title belt and a few quid in the pocket so fair play

Luke has told me that he doesn’t like being away from Leicester, He said if he was to move then he would like it to be around the midlands. He’s got a nice big house in a lovely part of Leicester and seems the last year he has knuckled down and slowed down on the partying .
