I expect to see Skipp and NDiddi doing the defensive part and Winks move into the centre to provide the attacking options.

Looking at yesterdays games, It's like the pace has gone up another notch. Will we be able to keep up. ? Even Utd looked quicker with Maguire playing. -
You were robbed, They should have given you 10/1

The Football is back. We finished Winners , So I guess it's time to give someone else a chance.
-
He can't be too bad with all his underage Caps for England , Plus Spurs and Norwich Fans like him also.
-
They have their sources but knowing Levy it's probably right unless he's doing us a favour for Maddison on the cheap.
-
Hopefully Hamza is moved on now as he's not progressing here being used to fill spaces.
-
No, It's more according to BBC.

I expect at least one Striker signed this week. A loan would be good for Cannon but he may have to wait a week or two for his Loan.

I Agree, It's better to play players in their preferred positions. He offers plenty on the left wing, Width, Pace and Skill plus the fear factor. We've not seen Cordova Reid play so we don't know what he offers, But if Cooper is thinkering he musn't trust him either. That only leave Cannon who doesn't seem quite ready though maybe he's one of those players who doesn't put a shift in unless there's something at stake. But he's definitely a Poacher in the Cottee mould if he gets a chance. Let's just hope Cooper has a plan and pulls off a shock, and whoever he chooses in the system works, and he delivers the goods on Monday.
-
Mav certainly has the quick feet to play in the centre, It's wether he can understand the positioning required quickly enough. If it's not working we can always try Cannon. Who i see more as a poacher than a CF. As a last resort we could stick Vesty up top to win crosses, long balls and knock downs. Anything is better than losing passively to Spurs.

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
Clever Fox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
I doubt very much Owners would get away with it today. Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes which was a new City with any real football affilation. The other Wimbledon problem was that the new town of Milton Keynes was very cosmopolitan in that most of its resdients were Fans of the other big London Clubs like Arsenal and Spurs Chelsea. -
Agreed, But Pearson would have had them in the first week in July and quietly. We can't seem to do any business quietly anymore, Which makes me think someone is selling our information to the Papers. Though I also know some players won't commit until late in the Window holding out for better terms or offers.
-
I think this is our fall back position. If all else fails.
-
Again we need to go back to the Pearson method. Do your business quietly and get them in early. That way their well used to the surroundings and teamates before the season begins.
-
I don't think so, They have very relaxed registration rules in Belgium.
-
What we should have done the last few seasons was to sign the players to Leuven and Loan them to Leicester. Then they would'nt be on the books as an expence.
-
Was it the 4 preseason games we lost. Not a good start to the season. Unless the team come out firing and ready to give it there best with a committed performance. Lets just hope he gets them on board, otherwise it's going to be a long season.

Efl cup round 2 draw - weds 14 aug - 10pm

A good draw, We should win 1 game this season at least. -
So your not going to enlighten me as to these rules you mentioned. Isn't achievements the way business works, If you do a good job you get rewarded wtih a new Contract. CR got himself sacked , Yes by poor performances, Because he effectively gave up on the job. I'd like to see us get back to where we were under Pearson. Pearson wasn't a great Coach but he knows how to build a Football Club properly. I'd bring him back as DOF with total control over all football matters. It seems like we've given up on almost every value he put in place. Down the road I think Top will take over total control of the Football Club in some sort of Family arrangement with KP.
-
You've answered it in a nutshell. That's the real problem. We have someone acting as director of football who is trying to learn on the job. Someone who's protected by Top it seems. How do you get past that when he's the Chairman of the Club. So you get an impass which is ultimately no good for the Clubs future. The best thing the Club could do is bring Pearson back as Director of Football. A man who knows the business very well.

She's the CEO but the dynamic has changed since the accident. She was answerable to Vichai, Now she's answerable to his Wife who is Chairperson of the Company. I suspect she's caught somewhere between Tops Mother and her Son Top. Not a great place to be knowing what most women think of their elderst Son. She's also been heavily involved in rescuing King Powers finances after Covid which thankfully have recovered fully. I was told she spent a lot of time in Thailand during this period sorting out the KP finances in a business she knows very well that's retail duty free. We'll never know who made what decisions but I suspect Rogers convinced Top and Rudkin he could deliver more if they backed him. Now we know he wasted 200 million signed rubbish and gave up on the job wanting out.
-
She looks after the Clubs finances as well as King Power Finances. She doesn't negotiate Players Contracts, just signs off on them. She does negotiate the final details of player sales though from what we know. Making sure to properly protect the Clubs interests. What she doesn't get involved in is player recruitment. Who we target or who we sign. I suspect that Top, Rudkin and Glover. Look at it from another angle. She's the first ever female CEO appointed in 2009. As CEO she's managed to multiply the value of the Club 10 fold. to 200 million or more. While overseeing the winning of the League and the Cup in that time, And returning the KP Stadium to the Ownership of the Club. Just think about those achievements for a minute. How many other small Clubs have managed to achieve that level of success in a 15 year period. I'll say it again, She is not the problem, Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignoring the facts.
-
I don't like scapegoating anyone especially when they're not guilty. How many of small Clubs CEOs have achived what she has, in builing the clubs value to at least 10 times it's purchase price. Not to mention winning the league and Cup in the same 15 year period. Perhaps you'll enlighten me. What rules are you talking about.
-
While you have a point that's not the whole story. She's only an oversees the finances she doesn't micro manage them. She's also stated many times she knows nothing about Football and so leaves it to others. Most likely Top, Rudkin and Glover. Money is not the issue either, PSR is the big problem, It' corrupt and flawed. Why do small Clubs have to sell the crown jewels while the big Clubs can sell Assets to themselves. Where we went wrong was in trying to play by the rules when we should have used the loopholes in PSR also.
