I remember when Leicester beat Coventry 2 1. KDH won it for us but a lot of people came away talking about Hamer who stood out as a top player.

Concerned this may get blocked if O’Riley leaves and can’t have another Soule type situation this late in the window

Jordan James at Birmingham being looked at by Ipswich. I thought Leicester were keeping an eye on him at one time

Cooper was clearly frustrated that the club hasn't signed anyone to even partly fill the void left by KDH leaving. Ndidi did his best playing out of position but I would have loved to see Alves or Golding given more time. Similarly I've seen so little of Cannon I don't know how good he is but I'm sure there will be a queue of clubs wanting him on loan which would be a shame IMO

He might take some convincing to come to Leicester with links to Italy but the offers for him so far around £14m are way too low.

The time spent on Soule has been a major distraction and raised expectations. Watching last nights highlights I think even several Championship players could have improved things driving forward and not demanded ridiculous wages such as Sara, Szmodics, Chair etc

I'm no expert on social media but the links to Soumare, Sara and O'Riley look tenuous at best. However if someone is a bit more savvy be interested to know what they think.

Cooper got a great deal for another winger Hudson -Odoi last year I think £3m so hopefully the club won't pay over the top for Nelson if there is some sort of option to buy. I notice Ipswich are rumoured to be after Jack Clarke at around £18m Spurs will pick up 40% sell on fee if it happens.

Fair enough. The club does seem preoccupied with wingers though but as you say perhaps they have decided not to directly replace KDH

Agree Hamer is very good and then there is Sara who has been excellent in the Championship. 20 million is quite a lot I think Sheffield United paid less than that last year.

Chelsea have put around 20m Euro bid in for the Villareal GK Jorgensen (Romano). Hopefully one less thing to worry about at least for the moment

Ridiculously low fee and Leicester cannot risk losing another keeper at thr moment

Agree totally and probably about half the price of Soule. Leicester would still get their South American and there would be enough money for another forward

Christian Eriksen might be available as United looking to prune the squad. Perhaps a season long loan if the cost wasn’t ridiculous .Experience, set pieces etc

Mads is confident and distribution is very good. When he did makes mistakes the majority of the time it wasn't punished. I think at Prem level this may be different and he won't be able to play so far up the pitch. I just wonder if the advantages that he has over Stolarczyk may be less at this level. At £30 million I'd take the money but the chances are it will be a bit less.

I know he is 28 but he can play attacking midfield or centre forward and looked a handful in the last game of the season with great reviews throughout the year. If he bagged 8 or 9 goals that could be enough and I'm not worried about resale value. I would be put off if Blackburn stuck to the £15-20 million valuation however.

It looks like last year it was a loan with option to buy for 10 million euros. I've just read that Milan want 15 million euros so around £12 million. Sometimes feels like Premier League teams have this unofficial super tax added

Does anyone know anything about Conway at Bristol city? He has been their top scorer for a couple of years and will be out of contract next year. Has been linked with a few clubs and Pearson liked him.

Leicester have done Juve a huge favour and clearly are not going to succeed with this unless they pay way more than is realistic for a player whose heart is in Italy. Need to move on to other attacking players and sound them out before getting involved in bidding wars

Agree that the squad lacks balance. Leicester had one winger in the relegation season with Barnes and now it does feel the other way (appreciate some players may be utility). I'm not really sure why Leicester recruited another central defender either unless there are offers on the table didn't seem a priority Central midfield from an attacking sense is my main concern and the club seems to be skirting around the problem. Having said I understand that is is not easy to find affordable creative players to replace the likes of KDH, Madders, Youri, Perez etc
