  1. Yeah but it makes more sense for everyone if they give us £15m for Kasey and we give them £18m for Targett.... Essentially the same thing but keeps FFP at bay.
  2. Bellingham looked out on his feet, even in the first half.
  3. Hopefully that's enough to keep Southgate in the job.
  4. Yeah, you could but like I said in a later post, that means wingbacks over wingers so to get Fatawu in too, he would have to play wingback. Cooper does alternate between 3412and 3421... in either scenario, Fatawu and Soule don't fit without at least one of them playing out of position. I'm not against Fatawu playing LWB though, I think it would work and suits us.
  5. That's what I mean, that wide position of a 5 is a wingback. Cooper generally plays 3421 or 3412. If it's the latter, Mavididi is more likely to play up top than Fatawu is given he's played as a striker before. If it's the former, Soule and Mavididi are likely to be either side of an out and out striker. No matter what way you cut it, if we play 3 at the back it's either Soule or Fatawu unless Fatawu plays as wingback and if that's the case, I would rather he play LEFT wingback. It not only frees up the right for Ricardo but wingbacks are there to provide width, you don't need them to cut inside when you have inside forwards so a left footer on the left hand side makes most sense.
  6. If this lad comes in, it's a pretty big indicator that we will predominantly be playing 4 at the back and will need to get rid of some CB's. OR... Fatawu will be played at WB because I don't see us dropping him.
  7. Law enforcement in the US are really top notch...
  8. That was my first thought.
  9. Good news!
  10. I feel we will definitely get an announcement today. Whether it's Ndidi resigning or Fatawu... who knows.
  11. Yeah. You're probably right! However, the lad is clearly bonkers and you can't discount the possibility that he just REALLY likes that Noddy car!
  12. Last time FT was this excited about a player was probably Casadei! Before that? Maybe Tete....
  13. If I was going to play Fatawu as wingback, it would be on the left as he's left footed. It means him and VK play there, leaving JJ and Ricardo on the right with this lad and BDR inside forwards on the right side and Mavididi and maybe Alves on the left.
  14. Yeah, they seem to think that over on the Coventry forum.
  15. And? No one is doubting that good players have played in the championship. @sylofox however seems to be insinuating that because a player plays in the SPFL, they aren't as good as those in the Championship. Which is clearly nonsense.
  16. Because it's done or because you've had enough?
  17. It doesn't have to be both. Just because the Championship is a better league, doesn't mean every single player is a better player to those in the SPFL.
  18. Wonder if it'll be Ndidi AND Winks or Ndidi OR Winks depending on the opposition.
  19. I'd guess it would be around £30m. Less if we are relegated.
  20. The irony of him making apologies to a scouser (Coady) about his lack of English is delightful.
  21. I mean.... there's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig! ...but on the brightside, there's obviously going to be more additions. I should say though... I'm pretty sure thos lad isn't coming and it's going to be Fatawu and/or BDR in that slot.
