Walsh could go missing for several games at a time... usually after, shall we say, expressing his displeasure at opposition players...

Fleetwood Town (A) 0-0 FA Cup 3rd Round
car1os replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Even if he did, he just needs to start watching that match again, that’ll do the trick. Been out all day, put match on record, kept myself away from anything that could spoil the score... only to watch that pile of sh!te. I only hope those players show more spirit and composure should they be selected to start when we play the Replay -

Can’t see us scoring tbh, we’ve been unbeaten in 7 away games so we were bound to lose against a team who have struggled recently
-
Grrr... just had to be Wague didn’t it?! But where were our defenders around the back post?
-
From one light bulb to the other... Mahrez!! With a Header?!

Ah. So who kept saying Palace wouldn’t score? Sounds like we’ve been woeful so far, hopefully that gives the team a kick up the &rse

This is the very type of game we’re famous for losing - a team in a relegation scrap when we’re playing well. Think they will nick a goal, going to go with a 1-1 draw

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?

We didn't look like scoring from open play today. Have to say I was impressed with Huddersfield today, especially their pressing game, but we just couldn't keep it on the floor enough. When Vardy was on, we hit high crosses. When Slimani came on, we played it on the floor! We need to be smarter, build up our passing game, and link midfield and attack better. Hopefully we will settle as a team within a few games, if not Shakey will be gone as we have the players to do it (if the Silva appeal is successful) -

And if he gets sacked, who would you want to replace him? Yes, I'm a little concerned as we had poor form at the very end of last season. Yes, we were leading against Arsenal although we have played 3 of the top 6 teams last season. However I don't think we should get on his back at the moment. We need to support him and the team. Shakey's demonstrated he can get the best out of the players we have at our disposal. He just needs to remember we're a team who plays best on the front foot. Let's see where we are after 10 games, not 4. -
Let's not forget that he had problems with injuries and didn't play a single game for Fiorentina during a six month loan. The club showed patience in him too which is now being shown to be a good decision

Poor TV pundits with sh#te opinions
car1os replied to willie-bell-in-rothley's topic in Leicester City Forum
What I don't like about any of this is that a lot of these "experts" have no idea about the amount of work that has gone into this football club behind the scenes in the last 5-6 years. Last season was amazing and I will always be grateful for Claudio's input into winning an impossible title. But we know that (a) the plan was for us to play 4-4-2 that season anyway, (b) the recruitment in the last 3-4 seasons had been absolutely spot on, and (c) the core players had developed together since being in the Championship. In essence, Claudio was really passing through. I have been very frustrated by what appeared to be a loss of our usual 100% effort in games (whether this was due to differences in opinion, tactics, or mutiny we will never know) because I knew we could do better, but I'm pleased it's back now. To hell with the plastic fans and pundits, let's get back on track. -

As I said before, I think it's the decision of the press as a whole to put the club down in any way they can. Pundits are just the public face of this -

Just seen that Sutton clip, that's just as slanderous as Keowns bizarre rant. Even though Savage and the presenter said Shakespeare had been there before, cutting Sutton down, BT Sport still put this as a clip titled Snakespeare. It's not just the pundits, it's clear to me that this storyline of backstabbing players and backroom staff is being carried by TV Execs and "media moguls". These guys are just the ones we see. Time for us to rediscover our siege mentality that has served us so well before -
I hope not... have we not learned our lesson from last time?!
-
But we only bought him in January. He'll be here for at least 12 months I'm sure, probably until summer 2018 hopefully, and let's see where we are at that time

After his goal on Saturday I was going to call him Oka-thwack-i. Great anticipation and a lovely first time thump into the net

Just goes to show the progress we've made by not losing those games! Those four points have been very important in us keeping our run going.

Well done Carragher, exposed the biased nature of the England Team selection criteria which includes: - Are you Wayne Rooney? - If not, do you play for a Premier League club in London, Liverpool or Manchester? - If not, you'll need to do twice as much to prove you should be in the team, and get half the chance to prove yourself. Vardy's said as much as he acknowledges that he HAS to keep scoring just to be noticed.
