Does anyone know why he wasn’t Pa last season? Could this have been due to illness and not been got rid of like many suggested?

From pre match stuff looks like alves and slump were in the pre squad but didn’t make the bench, so hopefully alves gets game time soon to show us what he’s got. Nelson being given the number 4 suggests we intend to use him!

All well and good him dropping in to get ball to feet but he needs runners beyond him, for that reason I’d play Daka as he does run beyond and creates space despite not being great when he gets on the ball. Desperately need a striker in though!

Striker and minimum one centre midfielder on loan are needed if we haven’t the funds for permanent transfers. Surely there’s good u21s lurking in big set ups at Chelsea Man City etc they are first team ready? unfortunately our u21s don’t appear to have a ready made striker coming through (Evans aside but often he plays from the right) and a lack of centre midfielders who are ready, Cartwright gone on loan and braybrooke looking not to be rated and cover I think is still around but again not rated and seems more of a right back now.

Just needs to work on his end product which I think when he gets his first goal/assist he will produce regularly.

If we needed to raise £25 million and save 150k a week on wages we’ve done that with the coady, ndidi and Hermansen going. Hopefully puts us in okay position to say not to any bids for BEK and we can sped 5/10 mill on a couple of players on no more than 20k a week.
