Kasper could go onto be a great manager if he chooses too as he is bright and has more self awareness than his father who quite honestly is not as bright……he’s a truly great character and importantly a winner…..great listen !!

I think this situation could be a win win for all parties - no way will we compete playing the Enzo way without an unbelievable summer transfer window and he won’t get the players we need but ultimately he has shown a huge weakness in flexibility. He may get a club which has the capacity to build his model - our board avoid some uncomfortable infrastructure and budget challenges. we get a pragmatic manager who will take some of the qualities he left us with winks, Fatawu, Hermansen but builds a more flexible and pace driven way to play without the ball - we need an experienced manager who is not stubborn! we all win IF the board find the right appointment - Moyes or Potter for me! it is ironic that BR won an FA Cup, got us in Europe and danced so much to get a Chelsea level job yet our foreign manager has one decent season and has clubs chasing him even though he is unproven - weird and although I despised BR’s self arrogance this guy is no better imo just move on and let’s go again we are LCFC and need not to be held to ransom by players or managers !

It’s all relative - this lot have been successful in the Championship and several of them were part of the relegation debacle who genuinely are not good enough. we should enjoy this team and hopefully how it evolves in the next 2-3 years but the best team in our history was and will remain Wes and the gang - fact!
-
Of course it does he’s the only striker we have who has and is proven in the premier league - he might only start 20 games but based upon the last 10 games he has looked as sharp in front of goal as ever - yes, he has missed chances (BCFC away) but his resilience to forget it and go again is top top drawer and he will not be intimidated by the top defenders and they will still be very wary of him - may create space which will be at a premium for others - it’s a complete no brainer tbh

No chance ……Harris has them absolutely digging in at home……stoke away was a walk in the park….take a one nil now fear this is one without the right attitude could be a banana skin

Personally I have mixed feelings in that without KP we would not have experienced anything close to the last 10 years and whilst there has clearly been poor decision making we have tried the impossible to break into the Top 6 - we did it briefly on a level no one will ever achieve again. The owner probably faces some very difficult decisions in the coming months and having the where with all to make some of those decisions will be challenging for anyone let alone someone who has loyalty as part of his upbringing and culture whilst memories of his father will also make that difficult. Whatever I still believe that KP deserve our backing and I for one like you find it very sad !

Yes it is ……he had an awful game by his standards BUT he is still our best striker by a mile and one of the if not the best in the championship …….why in gods name you take him off having gone a goal down and not put Kel alongside or behind him I will never understand - Daka would not have scored any of the chances JV had and JV is not the reason we are not going up - he is one of the few since Xmas who has stepped up. Farke and McKenna have plan B’s and would have attacked even going a goal down with more than one striker. some of the emotional reactions are clap trap and JV is not the scapegoat ……the manager is and has been all season 2D and is out of his depth imo

Utter rubbish

It’s not uncommon in players stepping up to senior / men’s football and I think if they rest him to build him preseason he will kick on! It has definitely impacted upon his confidence and a good preseason will help him hopefully.
-
No he didn’t he was way out of his depth …….we need to use the experienced players and they need to suck it up and grind us to wins…..business end of the season no time for youngsters being thrown in without having played minutes through the season

Leicester 1-0 Sunderland Post Match Thread.

Just got to the hotel having been to the game - credit to our lot as we made a fair amount of noise considering being up in the sky - I understand some of the negativity as the second half was painful but the boys dug in and ground it out -had we taken our chances in the first half the game would have been a stroll. my criticism would be Enzo not making changes around the hour as hamza, mavididi and kdh were out on there feet- a win is a win and Vardy yet again winds up the mackems - at the final whistle behind the goal and heading down the tunnel - he’s a legend and still has it although he looked out on his feet after an hour too ! same again on Saturday ugly but 3 points will do! -

Horrible team and definite defeat -
Okay I will bite ….is he really doing an incredible job? For me we have the deepest squad in the division and have had from the start of the season ……..undoubtedly we have won a lot of games but against teams you would expect with our squad …..we are definitely not getting better - less pressing, pace and dynamism and for me top drawer managers adapt and have plans b,c and even a d. EM I fear is stubborn and it was blindingly obvious today we were getting no quality out wide and aimlessly crossing for Cook et al to head clear was hopeless as everything was slow and ponderous with it all in front of there back four. Kel is the one player who offers something different and he leaves him out of the squad. My biggest concern is the manager and he is rattled and the next 6 games will give us insight into can he adjust - imagine being this predictable in the prem - down by Xmas! I desperately hope I am wrong but from the word go he has said we play one way and he has stuck by it!
-
Utter waste of ink 🫣 - I know it’s statistics based but Claudio has probably achieved something no manager will do again outside the big 5/6 …..ridiculous!
-
Lots of twists and turns left yet - Friday will be a good test to see how brave we are - last time we played these Kamara and Ampadu bossed our midfield and I fear that may happen again as Winks has just dipped and KDH is all over the place - the next 4 away games are quite testing and it’s the business end of the season. Let’s hope EM shows his tactical nouse and can be brave !
-
Daka should be on the bench and Mavididi too - I think he will go Vardy rightly and Mcateer wrongly but he will want some cover and I think will set out not to lose - I hope I am wrong but we will see Massive week training and EM’s biggest test can he tactically stop Leeds and make sure we do not get overran - be a good insight into his tactics against a prem level side!
-
No massive elephant we offer him in a deal…..stupid if we don’t ! - terms should be different but he’s still our best striker!

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan
Old Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don’t VK will have a say as you suggesting he will compromise won’t happen under EM ……….EM will not and should not have players with that mindset ! -
3rd choice I think Cannon will be the one to miss out
-
Spot on we will definitely attempt to keep all of the above and Vardy too is my sense on reduced terms but probably with a bonus for staying up whether he has better overseas offers will be key and if he needs a 3 year deal for security.......hopefully he wants at least one more year and we would be mad not to try and keep him - his experience, dressing room and leadership alone are worth retaining - also, in recent weeks he has looked at a different level again and he is still the best finisher at the club by a country mile.
-
Having lived in Suffolk for 15 years and seeing the rebirth of ITFC its fantastic for the Town....selfishly I hope they come up too as the gap to the prem is huge although the club is ran fantastically and McKenna is a top top talent I think Southampton and Leeds would definitely invest massively to try and stay up whereas ITFC would continue their sensible model of investment but within a structure which I think would probably mean they would struggle more......
-
Learn what? Your being ignorant if you do not believe signing Vesty on is great business Finding an experienced international who understands EM ethos and can play the way he wants will cost £m+ whereas a new 2-3 year deal would be great value as in the prem we will need experience and players who can hit the ground running.... He may not necessarily start every game and he has defended brilliantly all season and can play - boy can he pass a ball - he lacks pace but then the system and players around him will need to have pace - full backs in particular.. No brainer for me sign him up - we wont have ridiculous funds next season and keeping those players who have prem experience, played well this season should all be retained
-
I thought Riccy was equally as good some of his defending was outstanding……both superior to this level by a mile !

Agree - we are miles away from being mid table - this squad will get relegated without investment but let’s get there first….
