Foxes Trust Reform - the final step
blabyboy replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
Technically, whilst Mr Digby may state that the discussion has ended between you and him, there is nothing stopping us all contacting other members of the board to raise the concern with Mr Digby directly and then feeding back, similar to how you might engage with an MP as a third man when raising concerns with government. It would be very questionable judgement for a Board member to not respond to any valid query from another board member. -

If you have made them aware of that fact then they should have reported it already. See: https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/advice-for-small-organisations/personal-data-breaches/72-hours-how-to-respond-to-a-personal-data-breach/#:~:text=If the breach is reportable%2C you can report it online.&text=If you're unsure if,line on 0303 123 1113. I haven't seen it listed on the ICO site at present. They have breached and whoever is responsible for governance should be making the report. Having checked the FT site, the closest might be A. Digby who is head of Finance and Operations. -
"Our good news is that this rate of new species discovery far outpaces the rate of species extinctions, which we calculated to about 10 per year," https://phys.org/news/2025-12-species-faster.html#google_vignette A good news story in these interesting times.

What do you mean by 'life skills'? ..critical thinking, finances and budgeting, preventing mould and condensation in colder months, how to find the centre on a piece of wood? Or life skills literally, as in oxygen/CO2 exchange, energy consumption, gut biome maintenance etc..?

A nice denouement at the end though!

The whole China spy case is in real danger of becoming another example of the Streisand effect. Dancing on the head of a pin to define "enemy" at a point in time, yet describing all the traits of an enemy by listing all the threats and actions carried out in recent history. ... would've been a good episode for Yes Minister no doubt.

This explanation seems most plausible to me.

Related (read about half way down to the shipping fuels theory) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce3xynwwx4yo Maybe he's trying to buy time... So he can play golf at Turnbury more.

I am flabbergasted, just flabbergasted that you would say that.

I'm currently about to sell mine. Have redone it all through after the last tenant left. The changes coming in April 26 are just not worth it imo. As others have said diversification is good for the portfolio so you could look into selling and then part reinvesting into a REIT or similar vehicle so you keep with property for part of your investments. You could then split the rest off into other investments with potential higher returns, but possibly also more risk. Best of luck mate

Marker is an enigma. Making the right calls but hasn't got the balls to follow it through and raise it at the table.

He wouldn't. The point I was trying to make (probably ham-fistedly) is that he sees the problem and the danger of letting it continue.i.e. it becomes a systemic risk. So, lance the boil now and try to mitigate the losses as much as possible (he'll still do nicely when he does retire) so that he can retain as much potential wealth as possible. If the system goes he loses everything. If only part of it goes, he keeps a percentage of that potential wealth. The more he contains, the more he saves. Land softly, not hard.

You know where they are all invested? To me, I'd say JPM is less invested in AI because he's actually calling the potential bubble( and not just him btw). Someone overinvested is not going to draw attention to this problem until they have de-leveraged themselves/ their organisation - no sane person anyways. If you read the article, he also goes on to mention that he is concerned that this bubble collapsing will also affect the wider market, which would then affect every bank, and in turn JPM and himself. Given that historically, bankers do not tend to squash each other in public due to the consequences for the sector, I'd take the view that he trying to minimise the consequences to that sector(AI) as much as possible in order to better protect his near term stock price and future wealth. This article has popped up on the Beeb and has some interesting info on the circle jerk funding that is currently occurring in AI. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz69qy760weo

You've done the right thing according to the risk appetite you have, that's all you can ask for. I hope it pays off for you.
