  1. So should you. Having worked with folk in almost every area of the city, I can assure you that in no way is Braunstone the worst.
  2. Watch us be the exception..
  3. Mmmm, dunno. I've had the odd liquid one.
  4. Indeed. This will be tested however, if his 1st starting eleven have Thomas at the back and Ayew up front.
  5. With regards to b. As I mentioned in the post, money is just a plaything to many of the filthy rich. Re a, they may think that King Power is their fathers legacy not just, or even, LCFC. I only wondered on these two possibilities (Doing it on purpose or simply don't care) because they are the only reasons that fit the poor, and repetitively terrible decisions made at LCFC. They may have had good intentions after the helicopter crash but quickly realised they weren't up to it and just let things 'go' thereafter.
  6. Well, it is really. The impact of their thick skulls might cause another pot hole.
  7. I posted on FT the other day (possibly this very thread) that I do wonder if the only explanation for the chaos at LCFC is that the owners are doing it on purpose. That isn't altogether impossible, though I think there is an equally devastating possibility. They just don't care now. Despite the financial and emotional cost over the last 10 odd years, these fellas are billionaires. We are just a toy now. The wealthy might as well live on a different planet to the rest of us. I realised this the other day when watching a documentary on rich folk who hirer or indeed own, their own aircraft. One fella hires a luxury helicopter to fly to his favourite Pizza restaurant, collect his pepperoni and then fly it to his mansion. No one, apart from the pilot and the pizza, are on board. This particular fella was 'only' a millionaire as well, not billions like our absent owner.
  8. Is it possible something put him off? Perhaps he met the players.
  9. Because he doesn't get too long to get the players actually match fit, something of which it appears, we are lacking.
  10. Is it possible to have a new manager 'bounce' when the squad appears so unfit?
  11. A friend of mine 'died' for several minutes. Fortunately, the skill of a passing off duty paramedic and the ambulance that arrived shortly afterwards, saved him. I asked him some time later, if he saw any bright lights, welcoming angels or had any out of body experience. No, was his emphatic response. I think it may be possible however, that for some people as they approach death, the mind may give them comforting thoughts, even visions. In my own mothers case, just before she died, she pointed to a blank wall and said, could you open that door. I said, you open it Mam. Shortly afterwards she died.
  12. I can only speak from my experience with Virgin. There was an occasion, 4 or 5 years ago, where no deals were offered so they accepted my cancellation. About a week later and before my services ended, I received a call offering a deal that I accepted. That has happened twice now. I guess there is no guarantee they will offer something but isn't there a cooling off period? Cancel and if nothing is forthcoming as the disconnect day looms, either give them a call or see it through and go with another provider. There are more and more to choose from these days.
  13. Actually, we may have evidence for this on our own doorstep. Some of our players appear 'brain dead' but seem to be able to walk off the pitch after 90 mins.
  14. On the radio they suggested several minutes!
  15. Heard about this on the radio this morning. 'Consciousness exists beyond death and the process of dying should be considered a ‘negotiable condition’, a bombshell study claims. Traditionally, death has been defined as the irreversible loss of brain and circulatory function. But experts are beginning to challenge this view – arguing that consciousness can persist even when the brain stops working.' Several newspapers are reporting this too. Gulp!
  16. I've mentioned before, probably in this very thread, you don't contact them asking if your bill can be reduced or you are thinking off leaving. No, you call them to say you are leaving. No ifs or buts, you're going. I rang them with this very intention last year. They did ask why and I told them. (Important to do your research here on cheaper alternatives) They made me an offer but as I was determined to go, still said no. They then 'spoke to a manager'. I was then made a 2 year contract offer which, even taking into the 2 price increases during the term, was less than what I had been paying over the previous 18 months. No increase and even cheaper than my current price.
  17. It's incomprehensible isn't it? This shambles, this absolute diabolical running of our club must be close to, if not actually beyond, the most catastrophic examples in sporting history. It's unfathomable unless, that is, its being done on purpose. Why? I've absolutely no idea, but it's a scenario that totally fits all the evidence of the last 4 or even 5 years.
  18. Come on chaps. Even the sky is blue today. What better omen can there be? He said, clutching at straws.
  19. Needed to access my hardly used Virgin email account online and as it yonks since I last did so, I'd forgotten my password. No matter, I clicked on the forgotten password link. After correctly answering several security questions, that verify I am who I say I am, they've sent a reset link to that very same email account, the one I can't access because I can't remember the password.
  20. When they were young and 'hungry' perhaps. Now? Not too sure.
  21. Mrs. FFF was chatting to a shop worker she knows who said she no longer enjoys her job. One reason she gave was because some new young staff they have, are actively refusing to carryout some of their duties. One reason, she said, was because they were concerned they might break their nails.
  22. I mentioned previously that, although we know what a shambles the club is in, there will be an even greater awareness of this within football itself. I can imagine potential replacements, if not having doubts about coming here already, would certainly be getting advice to steer well clear from anyone they care to ask.
  23. Monarch, cooling towers, exit. Nope, don't get it.
