The Nape seems to be doing pretty well since it's refurb which is great. Hopefully it carries on because the area really needs a half decent pub. It's been good for a match day when we're avoiding town and just want nearby street parking.

What? if he's not offside it's the most blatant penalty going. -

Was Vardy offside? because it was a blatant penalty! I thought they were meant to play on and check it afterwards, but it seems they were set on the linesman's decision straight away -

I can't work out if I'm annoyed we didn't punish them or if I'm proud of the performance. Man City fans still singing about Rainieri nearly 10 years on is the weirdest chant in football. Got to take the positives into the Villa game, but unfortunately Justin will still start and hold us back. -

I just cannot believe Ward dives out of the way of the ball. Well, I can because it's him. But for a goalie to actually move out of the way of the ball, he should be investigated for match fixing I've never played in goal, but like most who play socially I take my turn in 5 a side or whatever and I can honestly say I would have done better there. I can't get my head around how bad it is. Keep clapping him though. -
If we somehow pulled this off, he would absolutely be starting for us. He's a massive upgrade on anything we have, even if he was played out of position he'd improve us.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

It made even less sense bringing him on as late as he did yesterday as well. The game was dead and there was no point even risking him for the sake of that time. -
I was thinking about how grim it would be if Forest secured top 4 in May whilst relegating us But seeing as this is a positive thread.. I like your post more.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Learning on the job with this dross (dross he had no say in) is obviously going to be difficult. He needs to be judged more critically after the January transfer window, but that's not to say he should be immune to all criticism until then. -
How can anyone feel sorry for him? This is supposedly football at the highest level with hundreds of millions of pounds at stake and we're playing someone that genuinely looks like a Sunday league player. He's making his money, it's not his fault he's not been binned, but starting him is single handedly like scoring deliberate own goals. He's not being booed enough. People at the club need to take action, and if giving him shit helps then so be it.

Wolves 0-3 H Post Match Thread

Getting pumped at home without scoring against a poor side is the worst. Wolves were so ordinary but we got exactly what we deserved for being half arsed and with the team selection we went with. Abysmal. -
Usually I'd say fair play to anyone going this, but right now I'd just think your clinically insane for giving up your boxing day for it.

I do prefer the older grounds, but not a fan of the Goodison away end so I'm not that arsed they're moving. -
My days are all over the place!

I'm a bit concerned how much I'm looking forward to this one Important game, Sunday before Christmas, no boxing day game at home and a few bevvies.
-
I liked the Dortmunder on draft there. Not seen it many places.

A decent couple of Tigers in The Globe last night on a rare trip into the city (non matchday). Not much life around town unfortunately. The Christmas market was a comedown after going to Sheff and Notts recently.
