  1. Imagine saying Brest and Celtic would finish above them at the start of the season!
  2. Imagine winning a trophy as a team, where you were a bit part player and your first thought is to make yourself stand out by putting on that narcissistic nonsense
  3. This is the absolute perfect fixture to prove a point and I think it would make a decent impact. It's one thing fans taking a few hundred to a 'lesser' tie and it being deemed as bad support, but if we do take a coach load at most to Old Trafford you know it's not because of us not having the numbers, or the interest, it is purely because enough is enough. It would pretty much be supported by all sides and the exposure would be more than could be achieved in most other ties.
  4. Each to their own, but I personally don't go games for the quality or the results. I guess that is easy for me to say as my ST is still 'value for money', but I keep telling my Dad to stop paying the ridiculous one off ticket prices and use it on other stuff. As you've highlighted, it becomes a choice between other socials/events and if it's 'worth it'. The issue is the people that just pay no matter what the circumstance as if it makes them more loyal, whereas all it does it prove they have no other hobbies. That is different however, to say the Pearson years where we had an identity and everyone was pulling together, it was actually fun going games even when we had really poor periods. My first thought seeing them Man Utd cup ticket prices was how I could get cheap flights, hotel and match ticket abroad for less, as your Palermo example proves. As for the non league, I like the fact I know I'm supporting local and my ticket money on the gate and beer money down the ground (which tastes like an actual pint) is most likely actually going back into their pockets, makes a difference and is actually appreciated. I'm not appreciated down City now, however much they pretend I am. So I do actually see it as value, even if the gap between standard of football doesn't replicate the gap between price of tickets.
  5. Hopefully those voting with their wallet are doing so because of the KPFC issues and not because we're not winning or doing well in the league. The worst type are those that have these 'principles' but are first to be sniffing around when we're on a winning run. Scandalous ticket pricing, loyalty tax, losing future fans, £100+ for a kit, £6 for a pint of piss etc etc should be called out either way.
  6. I think there are a lot of people who don't quite realise how much they've been brainwashed into thinking the current 'matchday experience' is ok. For me, it's not about being in a PL relegation fight (despite all the issues), it's about loyal and future generations of fans turning their backs because they're being treated like mugs. The board just seem extremely short sighted in every aspect. They love this 'family image' they've 'created', but the reality is completely opposite. There's no real connection between fans from what I see.
  7. I thought the timing of that chant was/is off, but guess I was just grateful that it created some atmosphere at least.
  8. It should be used as like a policing tool, because these people are 99.9% likely to be a wrong'un. No receipt for these purchases, just a warrant to search their floor boards.
  9. Same here, I didn't get round to it in October as planned. We're aiming to be at their Harrogate game the day after our Brentford game.
  10. The strange thing is, we'd most likely be lucky to have him if we go down
  11. Spurs 4-2 Leicester Ambitious fancying us to score twice, I know.
  12. I've just noticed the kids prices too Anyone that goes this has more money than sense.
  13. It has an end date and this year is going quite quick already.
  14. I really can't see him being here in August either way. If/when we drop we need another fresh start like we had with Pearson and Maresca.
  15. Ward is still a much worse signing. If we sold Skipp tomorrow at a loss, it would still generate some money back. Ward will be leaving for free and was still £12m. Plus Skipp could be decent in the Championship if we haven't ruined his career by then, whereas Ward was still 3rd choice at that level and did nothing to help us bounce back.
  16. I'd actually sooner be forced to pay that price to miss the game. You're genuinely off your head if you're paying that and claiming to be a better fan.
  17. No denying we're the worst at the moment, but we are 8 points ahead of them.
  18. People only do it when he's done something good so I doubt he feels like he's being booed.
  19. Piss take for those that have made plans already.
  20. Another trophy for being the 21st best team in the country to come around again
  21. Call me old school, but I prefer defenders that can defend and are average/poor on the ball, to defenders who can't defend but make the occasional good pass that often leads to nothing. Not conceding should be the first priority in a game.
  22. £20,000,000 for a squad filler. TWENTY MILLION. When we're in financial trouble.. Hand on heart, everything he did coming off the bench today I could've done.
  23. Ironing his KPFC bed sheets
  24. It's already turning, but it will be too late. The club have no idea how much they're ruining the long term support. Loads of empty seats in the ground today with people either priced out or uninterested and it was a big game.
  25. Once again, he is the absolute least of our problems. Still looked the most likely to create something despite having a poor game.
