Similar to when the councils in Scotland asked the public to name their gritters. Spreaddie van Halen and Skid Vicious are genius. I never even got a response for my suggestion of Adolf Gritler.

Sandwiches! Make some extra stuffing with the roast, then slather in apple sauce. Or do a salad with slices of pork. Stir fry would work too, noodles, fresh veg and a sauce.

Think I'm going with a purple sprouting broccoli this year, maybe even a romanesco. It's all in the finer details.

Any Bathroom / WC fitters on this forum looking for work?

Plumbing is absolutely not my forte, but if you need the room tiling from floor to ceiling, I'm your man -
Correct with both. We debated space age for number 2 at first!

A bit more. I had a couple of naps

We had a whole round of 12 of these on the quiz on Monday night, wish I'd taken a picture of the sheet to put on here. Nothing as high brow as @Countryfox posts, but a few good ones. We were the only team to get them all right! Here's some that I can get across and can remember: 1: 11001001100 Marley Dylan 2: AGE A G E AGE 3: (r-i)/(s+k)

Oh, they do!

What a day. Northampton to Aberdeen and back again. Home to delivery, then collection to home was exactly 960 miles. Over a hundred miles more than Lands End to John O'Groats. Almost as much as London to Warsaw. I'd be impressed if anyone in the UK has driven further today

The Americans appeared to think Marco Rubio would be the future, but there's no way he'd beat Trump in the primaries. Scary to think that these intelligent people in their Ivy League universities are leaning this way. But I guess the Oxbridge lot in this country would still vote Tory
-
Well, his lawyers have unsuccessfully tried to delay all civil and criminal cases against him until after next years election. Under American law, even if he is incarcerated, he can still run for president. Nothing stops him. If he was in prison and was elected, he would pardon himself and make 'the most powerful country in the world' an absolute farce again. Interestingly and quite unbelievably, I was on a train from London to Oxford about 3 months ago. I overheard a conversation between what were clearly very intelligent academics. I think 2 Oxford professors had 2 visiting professors from the US. They got on to the subject of American politics and unbelievably, the Americans were pro Trump. They weren't die hard Republicans, but they reasoned, both of their options are unelectable, but Trump was the lesser of 2 evils. I was in absolute shock!

Well there's your argument for stopping the clock and making a game 60 minutes long. I believe Wenger and van Basten have argued for this. Also completely puts an end to time wasting and the lottery of added time. And us, the fans, won't lose out. I think the ball is in play on average around 58 minutes.

I'd take VAR 100% BUT...VAR needs perfecting. It ain't even that hard. Forget automated offside, you're complicating things, revert back to the daylight rule. If a single part of the attackers body is level with a defender, he's on.

Who? Trump?

The Notorious P.I.G. are back. £86 quiz winners

I really, really wish that Ring doorbells had a longer storage time. I can only go back a few months. I wanted to re-live the night we won the FA Cup and I go outside for a fag, fall over, have absolute hysterics, can't get back up, crawl back to the front door and shout "LAURA, LET ME IN...WE WON THE FVCKING CUP" Then start singing "He's a starmaaaan, plays in blue and white...." She leaves me there for about 15 minutes, but I had a beer with me. Best night ever

It's football. You'll never stop it. Man City fans were singing about Bobby Charlton dying. A minority of England supporters will give Germany shit for something that happened 80 years ago. It's not right, but you're easily offended, go and watch rugby.
-
Nope, but I know people who did. And had to get changed in to PE kit from the lost property box. I said they'd be know as that till 18, but I'm 43 and he's still Lloyd pissy pants to me
-
Football fans. Most of them are arseholes and want to wind up the opposition. It's like being a kid. If you piss yourself at school, you're going to be known as pissy pants until you're 18. I'm not condoning it, but it is what it is.

Nah, an Akita or a Shiba Inu. The Mrs won't let me have one of those, but she will let me have the name. I'm not pushing it any more then Kasper and Youri were also possible names, but Shinji's legacy will never be tainted.
-
I fvcking love Shinji. 100% my next dog is being called Shinji Dogazaki.

It's being rebuilt from my understanding? It's 7 miles from my junction on the M1. Always delighted to go by it if I've been up north, means I'm almost home.
