Just had a round at The Northampton. Very nice, despite the weather. Some real picturesque holes, can imagine it's stunning in the summer. It's only 10 minutes from me, but first time I've played it. Right next to Althorp House. Shot a fairly respectable 90. My short game has gone to shit, but driving was great. One day they might both come good at the same time!

I'd say the current team. Most of the 13/14 team are nearly in their forties now. Morgan, Nugent, Drinkwater and Wasilewski are all retired.

It's my birthday on Monday. Mrs said to me this morning: "I've got a surprise for you today" I replied "Yes! We're going to the Watford game, you must have logged in under my membership to get tickets!" Long story short, we're in the Cotswolds for the night. Both unimpressed with each other

We live in a really nice little village on the outskirts of Northampton. It used to have three really good pubs. Two have closed. Just went for a couple at the remaining pub with the Mrs and her sister and husband. Most chaotic thing I've seen in a pub for a long time. Full of underage drinkers, middle aged men trying to chat the 16 year old girls up, everyone vaping inside, a karaoke night for some reason. Whilst half of the building is a dedicated restaurant with decent food sat completely deserted. Dogs roaming around the place, fighting each other, whilst the coked up owners couldn't care less. Won't be going back there again. Obviously the place has built that reputation and attracted people who aren't local. We used to go weekly for the quiz, but thankfully, that's moved to a nice pub in the next village. Quite sad, but honestly reminded me of this...

Tonight, it's homemade pork and black bean tacos, with chilli seasoned wedges. Pretty good.

This is literally my dream job. I'm applying. Plus I know Top. Rumour has it, Filbert was fourth highest paid mascot in the PL last year, on 40k. Significantly behind Gunnersauraus on a reported 70k.

Miller & Carter is just another M&B branded pub. Same as O'Neill's, but they buy nicer steaks to serve! Not surprised they vary so much. They're also outrageously priced, considering they grill a steak and everything else is pulled out a microwave. I only went there when I had my 30% M&B staff discount. Those lettuce wedges and blue cheese sauce though
