  1. Surely Trick or Meat would work better? Yours implies that your dick isn't a treat, which, surely isn't the message you want to convey?
  2. The first 16 weeks, when I didn't have to work, were arguably the greatest time of my life. The weather was glorious and I virtually drank a case of beer a day. 100% would do again. Queuing to get in to Sainsbury's was mental though.
  3. My Mrs really wants an air fryer, no idea why, she can't cook to save her life. I want a deep fat fryer. I could make all sorts of oily deliciousness with that.
  4. I'd prefer this Hannibal
  5. The biggest annoyance for me is how it's used in the FA Cup. If your ground is equipped for it, it's implemented, otherwise, it isn't. To me, that isn't a level playing field. It's the same competition, so should be used by everyone, or no-one. And for the amount we moan about VAR, justifyingly so, can I take you all back to the afternoon of May 15th 2021? It was alright then, weren't it?
  6. You spelt Mason Mount wrong
  7. That's some goal by Newcastle. Devastating break, but where were the defenders?
  8. How have I only just seen this? I'm flattered by the red cabbage mention. You are talking about mine, right? I quite like making cider. It's just so easy. You don't have to worry about carbonating it and you can just do it in a massive bucket. Not made any for years, but always say I want to do it again. Loads of pure apple juice, some champagne yeast and some brewing sugar to make a really strong scrumpy! Made an absolutely banging one once, boiled off about 3 litres of Vimto cordial, cooled it, then added it to the ingredients above. It rocked up a few weeks later at about 8.5% and tasted divine. Dangerous stuff though!
  9. Just got myself an absolute deal on an upgrade from o2. Thought I'd try the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. I'm paying less than I did for my S22, with more data. They also let me upgrade 5 months early, at no extra cost. £250 upfront payment applied, but didn't have to pay it. Then from Samsung, I can claim Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Z Fold starter pack, a plug, case and S pen. Worth about £320 Don't know if this is allowed on here, but I'm now selling my mint condition S22, 256GB version if anyone is interested? I know what they're going for on ebay, but I'd rather not lose 10%!
  10. The utter bafoon who decided to put branches of Greggs inside the fuel station at motorway services. There's a Greggs literally 50 yards away inside the main service station building, you know, the building that is purposely built for food outlets, shops and toilets (arcades for some weird reason, but thats another story). Sandra, the only person behind the counter in the petrol station, cant be authorising the pumps and serving steak bakes simultaneously, they have seperate counters. But after she has managed to finally let you start pumping your fuel, I've then got to go inside and queue behind 5 people ordering lattes, sausage rolls and rather delicious looking caramel custard donuts. I JUST WANT TO PAY FOR MY FUEL AND BE ON MY WAY. It's a fuel station, sell fuel. Overpriced drinks and snacks are also acceptable.
  11. In London, just got off the tube and needed to rush to make my connecting train. Escalator was rammed, thought I'd take the stairs. Immediately regretted it, but no turning back. Easily the longest staircase in the world. That station must be deeper than the Mariana Trench. Can't breathe, legs have turned to jelly, typing this and trying to style it out. Don't think it's working. There's a railway worker looking at me, concerned and standing next to the defibrillator.
  12. Slightly different player, but surely he's ahead of Mason Mount?
  13. Yeah, I quickly edited that 9mm! I'd have halved the sized of the bathroom if they were 90mm!
  14. I don't drill through tiles anymore. Just ask @Strokes These beasts are 9mm thick. I might get in there with a hairdryer tomorrow night! Just bloody annoying, it could've been finished a fortnight ago if the sodding thing set as it should.
  15. Yeah, did all that. Didn't do anything different to the rest of the tiles. Strangely, just one on the wall opposite was exactly the same. It has now set totally, so I reckon this one will be the same, as frustrating as it is. The adhesive is ready mixed, but says tiles of that size are fine. It's an eye wateringly expensive waterproof one. As we have another bathroom downstairs, we've been using that still, so the moisture/steam theory doesn't add up. Plus we have an extractor fan in there that runs low level 24/7. I've had the heating on in the last few days and that's definitely helped it. Just so weird that it's literally two tiles out of the roughly 100 that I've fitted! I just want to get the 2 underneath fitted so I can get the final touches done.
  16. Slightly related, I've almost done the bathroom. Looks great and I'm really happy with it. It's useable, but still needs a few finishing touches. But, where I've tiled above the window, I'm still having to prop the tile up because after 3 weeks, the adhesive still hasn't dried! It's is setting, but taking forever. It isn't even that cold in there. I need that to set before I can grout around it, plus fix the last 2 tiles at the top of the recessed window. No idea why it's taking so long, the others set as you'd expect. Fitted a new shower unit, which is great. A double headed thing that just went in to the existing power shower. And the radiator wall where we want the towel rail to replace the radiator...well I'm waiting on a friend of a friend to do the plumbing work, so I've made a feature wall with wallpaper. I like it that much, I might keep it wallpapered when the towel rail is fitted. Picture of offending tile and wallpaper below. And yeah, that's Gary the Gorilla. He watches over my toothbrush
  17. I've seen it. It just isn't funny.
  18. No sympathy for United at all. How do they expect to improve when they spend over £50m on Mason Mount?
  19. These are the 2 things I really hate doing. With regards to grouting, I always use a grouting bag as opposed to a float. Then I just run my finger along it to give it a nice finish and wipe over with a damp cloth. Depends how many tiles you're doing, I've been known to tear my finger to bits doing it like that, but you don't notice until it's all finished! With the sealant, I struggle. Pretty much the same as you, cut the nozzle at an angle and again, use a damp cloth. I always have a big surplus to wipe off. Sometimes, I do it once, so it's actually sealed, then a day later, I'll go over it again to get a nicer looking finish.
  20. A little fact for you... That was my mate, Peter Walton's first ever Premier League match. Sorry. I didn't think I'd sufficiently ruined your weekend
  21. Evans and Maguire starting for Man Utd, over Varane. Ten Hag says it's "Tactical"
  22. Frosinone were 3-0 up in the 71st minute
  23. I'm in absolute shock. People watched Freinds and found it funny? Condolences to you all.
