  1. Not correct I'm sorry, if the bottom 2 lost every game other than the ones against each other and all other games in the division were home wins then a team would go down with 75 points.
  2. I think breaking records will become what we have to play for at that point. As well as that it might not be very pretty at times but we are right up there as one of the most pragmatic and professional sides going. A lot of the players' futures don't lie here next season but they're putting in performances every week.
  3. Any chance he'll get the Watford job this week?
  4. Our record against the bottom half teams is P17 W16 D1 L0 PTS49 only dropping points to a last gasp equaliser.
  5. Southampton just won't quit it!
  6. Can't get a pass on foxeshub? 🤷‍♂️
  7. Don't come on here with your positivity!
  8. It's disappointing and becoming a habit but he isn't Messi and we're 10 points clear. The FFP punishments are clearly making owners wince, this has got to have been the dullest transfer window in history.
  9. That's why Mavididi didn't come on then, he clattered into him on the bench.
  10. I'm more 80s, went to my first game in '76 but a better memory of little Nev's era on the radio.
  11. "There's been a goal at Filbert Street, good news or bad news, Neville Fulger?"
  12. Non prem team, Luton or Forest at home.
  13. It's worth remembering that Everton voted in favour of introducing FFP and, whilst everyone says it's to protect the big 6, Man City voted against it.
  14. You know your kid best but he's got one hell of an attention span for his age if he'll get through over 2 hours in the ground. My experience of taking my nephew at that age was he wanted to go home after 20 minutes because he couldn't play. He's mid-twenties now and still a fan so not all bad. Good luck though, always a magical experience to take your kid to their first game.
  15. Rest him for a couple of games out of choice or be forced to rest him for a dozen games because of injury.
  16. I've got a ticket free to a good home. First to message me, I'll send a screen shot.
  17. Usually for a retirement they pay half the remainder. Izzett told me this in the Fleckney chip shop car park the day before he retired. Efforts to find a bookie who would take a bet were, predictably, unsuccessful.
  18. I've got 1 👍
  19. I've got a ticket for tonight C1 £39 face value.
  20. We've lost 1 game in our last 10...... with 10 men and some dubious refereeing decisions. Definitely no need for panic stations and talk of leads being wiped out. Over the course of Saints 20 game run they've picked up 1 point more than us.
  21. Scoring a 120th minute winner in FA Cup final and a year in Saudi.
  22. Any ethnic minority fans in the 70s and 80s would have been put off attending games by the awful culture in grounds. TV supporters are far more likely to follow the big clubs when we would have only been on tv for half a dozen 10 minute slots per season.
  23. This may well have already been said but Forest being deducted 6 points would put them in the frame for legal action by us as they only finished 4 points above us. Getting £50m each from 2 clubs would be easier than £100m from 1. The argument that this is in place to protect the big 6 is a tricky one for me, at some point the drawbridge had to be pulled up to avoid the Portsmouth '08 situation, our own under Peter Taylor and quite a few others, it can take decades for clubs to recover from 1 season of a big gamble to get survival that fails.
