  1. Would you rather we kept him until the end of the window (see Fofana) and get £50m, maybe less because we'd be desperate to sell at that point with a year remaining on his contract, and miss out on Hermansen, Winks, Mavididi.....
  2. Listening to Simon Jordan on Talksport, Forest might have a case for the appeal based on the Brennan Johnson transfer, whilst it was outside the accounts window for the season, the delay in sale was for sound financial reasons and may be taken into account. It would reduce the losses they can make this season however.
  3. Hopefully they'll both start on minus points next season.
  4. I don't think he was partizan, just sh1t.
  5. The debate is for dangerous play surely? In that case double jeopardy doesn't apply, that's only for denying a goal scoring opportunity.
  6. It's an important game but I think it's fair to say defeat won't end our hopes.
  7. It wasn't out of play at the time of the challenge though.
  8. I'm dying to know how you think the game would be restarted if he's sent off and there's no penalty.
  9. Double jeopardy doesn't apply to dangerous play.
  10. Is this his 3rd out of 5?
  11. Not the most successful but really important in raising the profile of the club. By anyone's standards he is an absolute gentleman, hoping for a miracle.
  12. It's a star jump to make you as big as possible, KS did it all the time. The player shooting is well inside the six yard box, anyone can be made to look bad from a screenshot, I dare say KS would have looked ridiculous from the initial header across for the Deeney goal.
  13. Might be a bit of a Mahrez speeding ticket situation. I would imagine Heskey would have legal representation who clearly haven't been informed yet, it's quite possible this will be easily sorted.
  14. Chelsea and Man City's money didn't make strikers better.
  15. Cynical me feels the police act because it's high profile, good PR and easily prosecuted. There's been a report on the BBC of a burglary the police, essentially, didn't investigate, I deplore this sort of behaviour and there should consequences but which is more important? It would be nice to think they're banned and their employers send them down the road for bringing the business into disrepute, easy done and proportionate justice.
  16. We only need the Football League Trophy and League 2 for the full set. 👍
  17. Calm down Che Guevara
  18. I'm not so sure, West Ham compensated Sheff Utd over the Tevez saga, it was out of court but I doubt they'd have settled if there wasn't a risk.
  19. I think he was unsighted, it was sweetly struck and the marking was horrendous.
  20. Anyone know who our first player born this millennium was?
  21. Hypothetically I would expect the capacity to increase but it would require major changes to the rows.
  22. Not every player at u23 level is there to progress to 1st team. Those that have real potential still need a squad of lesser lights around them.
  23. Apparently it's 19 years today since the Mendes goal was ruled out at Old Trafford. The Match of the Day clip is really interesting because Peter Schmeichel and Alan Hansen elude to VAR and both said that if it gets introduced it'll be used for offsides and penalties and when you start looking at grey areas we'll have problems. How right they were.
  24. Fantastic link, it seems like Sheffield rules were as near to Rugby as football. Right angle throw-ins being like lineouts, rouges like tries and the tackling would keep VAR busy by the sounds of things.
