  1. Going Wolves for £15m, absolute scam
  2. I'd say those are the ones we will not play as we look to get loans/move on.
  3. Am I right in thinking, if we've breached 23/24 and the points deduction set by the IC and then handed down by the EFL, if we've also breached 24/25 that it's capped under EFL rules? Maybe that's why?
  4. Wonder if we'd stand any chance of getting Sverre Nypan on loan for the season? He's already better than Championship class IMO, but not sure he'd get guaranteed football in the Prem as he would with us if El Khannouss went. Could be the perfect link up. Although no doubt ends up on loan at Girona.
  5. Still got a feeling Heskey's son signs for us this summer.
  6. He is very 50/50 is Okoli. Had some very strong performances where he blocks everything, covers the ground well and looks the exact defender our fan base appreciates. Then he has had games where he nutmegs himself, is all over the gaff and looks like he can't pass. He's not had a run of games to the extent we can measure what is par for the course with him but I'd sell if we can get our money back and some add ons.
  7. He's very highly rated back in Italy, think it helps he's been included in a chunk of Italy senior squads in the last 12-18 months. I don't think we can expect much more than we paid for him but with some add ons and maybe a sell on, it's probably something we'd be open to. That said, he's likely on fairly modest wages by our standards.
  8. I'd be happy with that, if Mepham was only a couple of million. Although part of me thinks he's not massively better than Harry Souttar and therefore we could just bring a defender in on loan and finally see if Souttar works himself in to the team alongside Nelson long term.
  9. How would you rate Motsi's ability and potential with Monga? Crazy we've two within a year of one another. Fingers crossed it pans out the way we hope with them.
  10. Nelson is equally as good on the ball, quicker and more versatile too.
  11. No, was included for 23/24.
  12. He's got a loan back to Italy or France written all over him.
  13. You've missed the KDH sale too that was in 23/24 and yet we still breached.
  14. No Braybrooke and Golding is hopefully a sign both are going on loan, unless they are in the squad for tomorrow night.
  15. Unfamiliar with Christian Boothe, not sure if he's a new recruit or up from the U16s. Damian Machaka one to watch this season like Motsi.
  16. Dennis Praet regen
  17. Genuinely missed this news, my apologies. Explains why he's still there then 😂
  18. That sort of price would get us Alvyn Sanches who is destined for big things.
  19. Based on the logic that if we have struggled to comply for 24/25 we will be asked to submit a business plan on how we will comply for 25/26 and if we can't then a transfer embargo will likely be handed down to us. I find it very hard to map out how we were told we had financial issues in 24/25, only to not sell any players before the end of June. So if we complied then great and hopefully limits any possibility we'll face troubles to do so for 25/26. Or if we have failed or it's touch and go then I foresee the EFL trying to hit us with an embargo.
  20. This is not from any information I've been given, but based on some possibilities. We are being told we need to sell a significant amount of players, which is understandable given the size of the squad, the amount of players out of contract next summer and the drop in revenue from relegation. However the latter one is a potential problem for us to comply with PSR for 25/26, which if is a real risk we can also presume 24/25 was as well and yet we did not sell a player/s before the end of June in order to mitigate that. So my logic is, if we were OK for 24/25 without player sales in June, we ought to not face too big a headache for 25/26 with the sales we have had so far, the drop in wages and with a handful of other departures I'd expect at least an average Championship budget available. But we are being geared up for no transfer fees being paid out, which may suggest something. If we have indeed breached for 24/25 then we will also be asked to provide a business plan on how we will attempt to comply for 25/26 and if it is not abundantly clear then a transfer embargo will be applied, likely by the January window. That is then a slippery slope to be on. My other potential logical explanation for all of this is optics. We have been charged with a breach for 23/24. We have seemingly pissed both the PL and the EFL off in recent years and failing to submit our accounts on time has once again potentially aggravated this. So we are choosing now to go on the charm offensive. Point to minimal spending since the breach as evidence of the severity in which we are taking this situation and that we are proving it is impossible for clubs like us and the situation we ended up in.
  21. There's a good chance this window is the last one we won't be under an embargo and won't be able to pay for any transfer fee for a while.
