I'm in this weird mood where yesterday's outcome has potentially annoyed me more than some defeats in recent times have. The images of Vestergaard and Faes, hugely complicit in many things that are wrong with this football club, scoring the goals to get across the line against a team is utter disarray is galling. Many of us don't want to have to tolerate this lot again, nor do we accept this current ownership showing zero evidence of any tangible change. Cifuentes is not doing anything unreasonable in giving these a chance but it's so predictable that already a little bit of this new era excitement is wavering. He can quote all he likes about the past being the past with Faes but whilst he's supposedly taken the time to ask him what's happened he perhaps should have had the tact to understand why our fans might be feeling they way we're feeling. The faith in youth is very much yet to be proven as well, and until it is then my mood will unlikely change. The decline at this football club defies science, even more so that the root causes have remained untouched. Professors and pioneers would be left scratching their heads at that one. Bored of it all.

Quite possibly, but if that was the case then why on earth did we not strive to sell anyone before the end of June? I don't see how we complied with PSR for 24/25 only to be massively at risk of failing 25/26 without selling loads of players. We do have a massive squad so it's right to try and move many of them on, especially with 9 out of contract next summer and a horrible reputation for players leaving on a free here. But who knows. I do think we are deliberately trying to make it look like we are doing everything possible to cut costs and not spend as a defence for previous breach.

I am not interested in the current mindset of promotion above everything else. I understand the importance of ambition and to succeed but we aren't robust enough to achieve that in the current approach or framework. I'd rather see us rip it all up with the intention of doing it differently, even if it's a bigger risk we don't get promoted. The truth is I want change from top to bottom, including ownership and almost every single board member and senior director. I absolutely want almost every single first team player being gotten rid of. I don't support Leicester just to see them compete in the top division at all costs, genuinely doesn't bother me. If that's the end result, I don't want it. So I repeat, get rid of him, get rid of them all.

Winks outlay for this season is north of £6m. Getting his wages and book value gone should be a priority. We could possibly get two players in and be better off, plus not have the issue of him leaving for free next summer. I rate Winks at this level but not enough to keep him for the sake of it. Tarnished his rep last season, get him gone.

Who's slump?

Agreed. I like players like this to not always start games, Fatawu included. Rotating them allows them opportunities to come on in games and be devastating. I'm concerned about Alves, if we aren't going to use him then get him on loan again. If Nelson doesn't get regular gametime as well then it's unforgivable.

I'd take the chance and take the money. Too many of these we're still wedded to convenience and a lot of us have had a gutful. I really don't care about promotion if this is what the end result is.

His £10m transfer fee and wages make his outlay on the books this year well over £5-6m. He's a priority exit, along with about 8 others still. Get them all gone, I am sick of the sight of them.
