  1. Hahahahahahahaa and still no Monga or Evans in the squad. Sublime.
  2. He signed a 2 year deal pal
  3. You watched yesterday's and thought he was only OK? Christ alive, how on earth have you stomached watching us for this long.
  4. Good point about signing on fees. It may well be spread over the length of the contract so he'd have two years remaining but might just be wrapped up in his wages. Briggs needs a loan IMO, I rate him but I think he's one who needs a League One/Two loan for 6 months + The one other player in their position I'm massively impressed by is Louis Page, could well be the biggest talent of the lot you know.
  5. Reid was on a free so, that's not a problem. Ayew's book value will be £2.5m, we could loan him for a year and be no worse off.
  6. I think Ayew and Reid will depart.
  7. If you can do 5km in sub 21 mins then you can get under 45 mins for 10km without major work to put in. I have to shoot the lights out to go sub 23 mins for a 5km and I can do 48 mins for a 10km. Quality half marathon that mate, 1hr 45 is my goal. I've done 18km at 4.57 pace but last weekend fell apart at Kettering on the back half and came in at 1hr 48. Will try again in the coming weeks when I've worked my threshold back down.
  8. Think I've done my longest ever run this morning. Warmed up with a few kms to meet a mate and then we did 23km around the villages. Was nice and steady but was still absolutely goosed by the end as it was extremely hilly which brought flashbacks to last Sundays pain 😂😂 Loved it though, this is now a year of consistent passion for running and hope it's now a lifelong pursuit.
  9. Absolutely love the bloke.
  10. Even if that is the opinion of our current coaching staff I wouldn't trust it to be correct anyway. Their actions in the last few months have been nothing short of moronic.
  11. Absolute game changer for them today. Great stuff. I was up off my seat with that 25 yarder that just whistled wide a minute before his excellent assist. Just needs his first goal and think it'll do his confidence a world of good.
  12. He's sensational, I'm at the point that if we manage to keep one of them (and Page) I'll be happy.
  13. Think we need to extremely relieved he doesn't have the hype of Monga and is neglected by England youth because quite frankly he's the biggest talent bar Max Dowman in the PL2 this season.
  14. Evans is such a lethal finisher. The U21s and U18s in 2025 is literally the only positive of this entire football club that's in the public domain.
  15. Why are the leagues enforcing this digital muck? Seems a convenient party lane to hide behind, can't see why it makes any difference to the league themselves and they're probably encouraged to back the clubs up who want to enforce it rather than vice versa. Would genuinely rather go the NEC and pay £20 for parking and £50 to a naff arts and crafts exhibition than gew down the City under this current mob. GERRUMOFFTHEFIELD
  16. Not a chance out 1st team scores against our U21s or possibly even U18s. There's not a men's team in this country we'd score against right now.
  17. They'd have to pay season ticket holders four figures or more for me to have one, possibly even five figures.
  18. Stolarczyk genuinely deserves to be Hermansen's replacement in the Championship. But recruiting a solid number 2 is a bit of a puzzle. Do you go for experience or go for someone very young who would be happy to be understudy for a while. It's a tricky one.
  19. That team would genuinely torment our 1st team right now. Wout Faes would be flapping about like his fingers gone straight through his only poo bag.
  20. Sunday evenings can be a terrifying prospect at the best of times, but putting people through watching Leicester is just unthinkable. I'm trying to think what I'd rather do less than watch us on Sunday night. I'm stumped, so for that reason I'm out.
  21. Yeah I will do I reckon. Will do 1 or 2 more short-ish runs in them and then make the call.
  22. Don't know much at all but seems to be doing unbelievably!!! Will start to do some research.
  23. It is a strong squad, that's arguably weaker at older age groups in his position. He's the standout PL2 player this season aged just 16 though, it's quite surprising. Probably good for us because if he had the hype of Monga with the end product he's already showing, then we'd have a nightmare trying to keep him as well.
  24. I've had some new ones and I'm convinced they're not right for me. Brooks Launch 10. Ran in them earlier this week and really hurt after 8km. Arches of the feet aching like fcuk. Annoying thing is they came up as a close alternative to my Asics I've had the last year so was convinced to try them. Could be a waste of a ton.
