  1. Yeah the more I get involved in this, the more I realise I like anything between 10km and half marathon. Don't think that will change either.
  2. It was a major achievement and good experience if I do get any ideas of doing a full marathon (it's inevitable). Pace was kept steady at 9min 40 per mile which is a good 1min 30 more than my half marathon race pace but after 15 miles (my previous furthest distance) it was unchartered territory and a major challenge. Got it done though and was exhilarating at the end, over 3 hours running is a big test to the body even when easing off the gas. Hopefully put me in good stead for Bosworth half in a month and the week after the 5x5km run rabbit trail race in Corby. 23km at that pace is immense pal. My target half marathon pace is that and I can do 17km at 4.57 pace but the last half marathon I fell apart back stretch and ended up a few mins short of 1hr 45.
  3. Evans on for McAteer please.
  4. He genuinely wouldn't be the worst option if he wasn't already at West Brom.
  5. Not sure that's correct. Enzo turned us down after we sacked Rodgers as wanted to finish the season with Man City. He was always the number one choice.
  6. Attempting my first 20 miler in a minute, never gone above 15 before. Might be far too ambitious but will go up to 10 min miles and see what nick I'm in after 15-16 miles.
  7. I want a manager who's number one philosophy which at times could be to his detriment is developing young players, but in particular from our academy. That should be the one and only person specification on the job advert. Otherwise I'm not interested, appoint a beaver instead.
  8. Not sure if it's always been the case but Evans hasn't any posts on Insta anymore, swear he had loads of LCFC ones.
  9. Especially as he's just turned 17 and may not yet have signed his 1st pro deal with us. He's equally as talented as Monga IMO.
  10. Interesting that Aluko and Evans are missing, along with Monga. Page has gone out to the US.
  11. Just to point out, Monga won't necessarily be anymore financially better off by joining Man City this summer than he would the following summer when he signs his 1st pro deal. Whatever he agrees with a club this summer won't be active. So any injury he may get could change the outcome of his career come his 17th birthday. That's why in my naive state I could see him staying another year and seeing what happens.
  12. Or at the very least a club like Rangers.
  13. Bryson will need to cut down the amount of dropped shots over the next 3 rounds if he wants to get thst green jacket. Blokes ability to make birdies or better is relentless but think he needs to be steadier across the rounds to last the pace.
  14. He won't be able to go on loan until he's 17 I don't think? He's honestly better placed to stay with us and then consider his options ahead of his 17th birthday in July 2026.
  15. 100% agree and I think we might now.
  16. Is there the possibility he does stay next season and waits to see how it goes with us before deciding who to sign a professional deal with in July 2026? He'll likely play 30+ league games for us next season.
  17. I've actually watched half of this and I didn't get as wound up as I thought I would. I'm worried now, I think I no longer care as much about things 😂😂😂
  18. Absolute mince them words, nonsense.
  19. Would like to see DeChambeau win it. As many will know, I no longer have anything to do with gambling (7 years clean) but golf was my main obsession when I did. I've cut the cord between following the sport but will still dip in and out in the big events and it's no longer got the emotional pull for me anyway. DeChambeau back in 2016-18 I was convinced would be a multiple Masters winner. I researched the shit out of him as an amateur and seeing what he's done so far as a professional does not surprise me. I know he divides opinion but thankfully many now appreciate his personality, I think he's a funny guy. Good entertainment.
  20. Monga absolutely rinsing some of them 😂😂😂
  21. I maybe mistaken but I thought it was free agents (from prior to the window closing) or current owned players not registered and not at another club on loan.
  22. To be fair if we aren't going to give Evans or King a chance from the U21s between now and the end of May, we have 1 spare spot in the 25 man squad. Stick Opoku in and play him for the rest of the season, can't be much worse can he?
  23. I'm on about Jake Evans and my opinion he's a natural winger rather than a striker but will be interesting to see how his career unfolds. He turned 17 in the last couple of weeks and I'm waiting to hear if he's signed his first full professional contract with us, or if he'll also be pinched.
