  1. Probably sell him and give Denayer £150k a week for 4 years.
  2. Might be time I brought CAT-SHIT back
  3. Bang on. We've already spent a decade with a DOF who had no credible experience to warrant being given the role at such a club so might as well give it to another novice who can be controlled. This is why I think any call for change shouldn't just be directed at Rudkin, it's the entire ownership. Getting rid of Rudkin or moving him aside will be the responsibility of the group of people who have presided over our decline already, a scary thought. King Power OUT
  4. Add in Danny Ward too who'll go on a free this summer and the £4m we rejected for Iversen from Palace in 2023 to go on to pay him a further 2 years wages where he's not made a single appareance and will leave for free this summer.
  5. Not sure when the next pod will be. We didn't do one this weekend for a few reasons and Jord is away now for a few weeks but we'll be getting one in ASAP. We don't want to keep going over the same stuff so thinking of how we can keep it interesting during this horrific period of being a Leicester fan. I might start doing recipes and cooking lessons.
  6. You say that but selling those two for that profit is the same as selling El Khannouss for £35m or Fatawu for £30m. You'd evidently not want to lose either for that fee but at the same time probably wouldn't get higher either. Raising £10-15m profit on fringe players is exactly what we should capitalise on when it's presented.
  7. Would appear that way but you never know.
  8. You only have to see how we've dealt with the departure of the last two U21 managers. Basically temporarily filled them with the assistant and just carried on and they quietly take it on permanently. It's very much half arsed.
  9. Hermansen Justin Vestergaard Okoli Coulibaly Soumare Skipp Kristiansen Evans Daka Monga
  10. I think what drives it massively is their international recognition. Monga has already starred at England youth level, like Nyoni and I'm fascinated to see what happens to thr tribunal with Trey. Still not heard anything. I suspect it'll be several million but mostly in add ons.
  11. Jake Evans is another very promising talent. Not got quite the hype of Monga and maybe isn't quite as obvious how good he could become but we should be excited about him. He ought to be cin with a chance of the 1st team in the next year IMO.
  12. Tribunals in such circumstances have led to several million pound compensation set. Happened to Chelsea after signing a couple of Brighton academy players. Many other examples too.
  13. Ethan Nwaneri played for Arsenal when he was 15. Monga is considered as good if not better at the same age. We've not had a player this good in our academy, doesn't mean he'll go on to be the most successful but his talent is frightening.
  14. Only reason that might change is the club have tucked him up and he can use it as an opportunity to say he's having to utilise the academy for additional resource. Also, the FA Cup really isn't our priority and our 1st team is mingin' anyway.
  15. Pretty sure it makes the cost of him should he be poached considerably higher too.
  16. I know, although the staunch norris brigade will probably claim that's why we don't play them because Rudkin is such an elite expert on when the time is right to promote a culture of blooding such players.
  17. Was visibly trying to run off a niggle 2nd half on Friday and yet he was still absolutely ridiculous and they couldn't handle him. Hopefully it's not an injury as he needs to be considered for the Man Utd game, he could make an impact from the bench at the very least.
  18. I actually refused to acknowledge most of the transfer business that was done in the last few days but I'm gonna have a look for a laugh. Some unbelievable bargains and attainable loans went through from what I gather. Lazio getting Denmark U21 captain for £3m who's a left footed CB might be the most galling.
  19. To be fair that Morales would have been an intriguing pick up and banked the £5m profit on Thomas. The other two would be heinous.
  20. Jason Denayer - CB Ryan Kent 😂😂😂 - LW Marcelo Morales - LB
  21. The laughable thing about the last few days. Could have raised £5m on Thomas, got a decent loan move with potential £10m for McAteer and replaced both with Marcelo Morales on a free who's a young Chilean left back and Marcus Edwards on similar loan/obligation terms as the McAteer deal. It really isn't this fcukin difficult.
  22. I'm actually staggered. I thought there'd have been a half arsed attempt to manipulate the fans with a couple of dog muck signings that kept the heat off them for at least a few weeks but they've actually stooped to a whole new low. There's absolutely no strategy for the long term future of this football club, there can't be. It can't involve genuine intention to stay up, so we're once again back in the vulnerable position of having to go back down and keep up this pretence that our long term ambition remains the same and this is a mere bump in the road. The sad reality is it's highly highly likely it isn't. Many established teams occasionally get relegated but those that bounce back do so once, they don't tend to then commit the same mistakes and go down again and eventually get it right. Newcastle, Villa, Bournemouth all came back up and are better as a result. Only Fulham have managed to buck the trend. Ourselves and Southampton are more likely to be like West Brom and Norwich but both from a position of significant stature and power and it's quite difficult to get your head around. We seem to go from one unforeseen difficult situation to the next if our clubs party line is to believed. The financial problems that blindsided Rodgers and the club between February 2022 and July 2022, followed up by the same happened to Enzo between the summer of 2023 and that winter where he pretty much accused the club of lying to him. Fast forward another year or so and our current manager has said funds were available to him and now they aren't? This cannot be bad luck because if it is then the unrivalled successes we had must have been down to luck as well because this club seemingly has no ability to plan and execute what it intends to. Nor has it had any ability to arrest the problems that we've been blighted with. The harsh likelihood is that what made us so successful was as a consequence of a vision from key individuals that are long gone and unfortunately what remains here just haven't got a clue. I hope what's about to happen to us finally sinks in for Top and he realises the mistakes he's made putting the trust and loyalty in to the current structure that's been largely untouched for years. And equally importantly realises he knows next to nothing about what it takes to do to fix this other than surrounding himself by proven football executives in key positions that can fix this over time. I say this as the preferred option, but that I'm afraid would be for him and his family to sell up but at the very least if that doesn't happen then I hope he has the character to swallow his pride and do what's needed. Might go against the loyalty part of Thai heritage but he ought to be a ruthless businessmen that knows when loyalty has ran its course for the greater good. This is the end as we know it, time for change.
  23. Calvin Bassey and Maswanhise both been there and done extremely well, just a shame both left us permanently to do so rather than on loan 😂😂😂
  24. Free agent market will be considered when the dust settles of this shambles of a day.
  25. Go get Chukwueze on loan from Milan and take the money and run.
