  1. I think coming off the bench suits him to start with, if he can turn a game then it'll really kick start his career IMO.
  2. Yeah seems very odd. We should have just called him back and used him aloursepves from April onwards as we'll likely already be relegated.
  3. What happened to Maxi Gomez? Been without a club now for months. Probably the best under 30 available player based on his ability several years ago.
  4. He actually said, not many Championship managers fighting relegation would take a risk on player with such little experience.
  5. The hot dogs from the van there are world class
  6. Okoli, Nelson and Souttar next season would be an excellent trio to have. Get Coady, Vestergaard and Faes as far away from here as possible. Add a steady 4th CB on reasonable wages and actually start taking this overhaul seriously.
  7. This is what Sheffield Utd did and it has certainly helped them so far, it's not as if the likes of Ayew, Vestergaard, Coady, Winks etc are showing any form of leadership and end product anyway.
  8. 2 weeks until my next half marathon in Bath. Looking forward to it as its a bit unusual with two massive underground tunnels to run through. I've been surprised by how difficult it is to improve on my fitness that I'd built up from last April and barely let it lapse all winter but I'm finding it very difficult currently. Got a mingin' cough that is making it hard to breath when I get the heart rate up on quick sessions but hopefully can get round it in a decent time for me.
  9. Still not been announced if the tribunal has taken place yet. Speaking to journalists I know, they aren't aware it has either. Very odd.
  10. His finishing was atrocious, that wasn't caused by the position he was played. I think his mentality here was poor, maybe that's changed since he's left here and it's revolutionised him.
  11. Pretty sure i did some research but even in that season when we were electric I don't think many of his goals or assists effected the outcome of a result, even though that crude assessment can be very misleading. He certainly wasn't doing what he's done at Betis, Villareal and his national side.
  12. Perez career here genuinely annoys me. Whilst we're a world away from being annoyed by a players underperformance whilst still winning domestic trophies and qualifying for Europe, I'm not having it that we somehow neglected and under appreciated Ayoze. The bloke was an absolute master at blazing over the bar piss easy chances, sometimes in do or die matches and being complicit in our decline. Maybe he suffered from a lack of confidence here that enhanced that or it just didn't work out for him here (that happens) but it's irksome.
  13. Hernandez wasn't massively poor, he just didn't really feature after a few minthe or settle. Or that was my recollection anyway.
  14. Yeah Vardy is becoming a major problem in this regard. It's a huge dilemma but as he's still our best finisher and pretty much has a job for life it's hard to consider not including him. Enzo regularly didn't start him though for this very reason. But if and when he did he still had Mavididi, Fatawu, Ndidi and KDH who as you say press well as a pack (even better with Daka). In the current set up on El Khannouss is a strong presser, Ndidi is now deployed deeper so we simply must either change systems or Ayew and Vardy don't start. I'd personally go 3-4-1-2 with El Khannouss and Daka pressing either side of Vardy or he drops out and El Khannouss and Bounanotte play behind Daka.
  15. No
  16. Ward Bennett Wague Musa Ayew Silva (although he had ability) Bertrand Ghezzal Skipp (hopefully this changes)
  17. Go on then... he's definitely in the conversation.
  18. Oh he is. His lack of pressing and ability to contribute at closing down the opposition is one of the main reasons we're so easy to play against. People see the defensive issues and presume they start and finish in that area but you defend from the front and he also has zero ability to help out when we're under pressure deep too. Will go down as one of the worst players to play for Leicester in the last decade.
  19. Hahahaaa impressive. He definitely looked far more dangerous at LW, which has always been his best position in my opinion. I know he's considered a #10 but he gets more space out wide and cutting in. I think if he can develop in to being a very good Championship level left winger then in time he might move centrally but a promising debut from him! I'll be watching their games when I can, probably opt for that over ours at the min an'all 😂😂😂
  20. He was arguably even crapper under Cooper, the 2nd half of the Southampton game aside. Hoops dropped him to try and get a reaction from him.
  21. Last summer, 4 year deal.
  22. Have you ChatGPT'd this?
  23. That might be the link 😂😂😂
  24. Mentioned it last season but every time I see Ruben Colwill I'm impressed. He must only do it occasionally but seems very talented on his day.
