It's a curious one, the psychology does change ever so slightly. We've not been a team that's been written off much yet, nor have Leeds really been a team that's very close to positioning themselves as strong favourites to clinch promotion. That's now becoming a near certainty and it could get to them. Farke though is a very astute manager in situations like this at this level, but we owe his team one for sure.

This is what champions and successful teams are made of, games like this. Despite all of our excellence this season, we haven't shown quite as much prowess in the big games. By no means been poor but we're still one massive result from being the real deal. They should all be relishing this, got to have the aggression and belief to take apart a relentless force at the minute who just don't lose at home. Go and do that and we deserve everything.

Enzo will need to make some big calls at half time. Middlesborough have been shocking of late but are a capable side. We need to expose their lack of confidence with more energy and movement.

Daka is due a goal that isn't just an open goal tap in or penalty. He's a very good finisher but we haven't actually seen it yet this season. Come on Pat!

We fell in love with Enzo's face, we fell in love with Enzo's FAAAAAAAAAACE. -
If anyone happened to have 4 tickets, ideally 3 adults 1 U16 then I'd have them off you. Cheers

Probably decided to have that done now rather than in the summer given he won't play again for Inter.

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan

LB/LCB would not be a top 3 priority put it that way. If our options were Kristiansen and Justin in the PL I'd genuinely be content with that. The Vestergaard role is far more a priority, as is another CM that will need to drop in from the dual 8's to help Winks. That signing will be critical. 1st choice striker will be 3rd priority for me, closely followed by a genuine alternative to Mavididi and Fatawu. -

If James Justin can play in Enzo's system then Kristiansen can. Justin is not particularly strong on the ball but he's developed in to being able to still do what's required of him. Kristiansen would do OK IMO. -

He won't get the wages he's getting in the Prem (which will kick back in if we go up) and nor will anyone pay £13m for him. So he might well have play in Enzo's system. -
I said it last week, I still wouldn't rule Ipswich out. They have struggled since Christmas but I don't see that carrying on for the rest of the season with the signings they have made. They've some cannon fodder coming up and I think they'll easily get 30+ points from their last 15 games and put themselves in the mix with Leeds and Southampton. Whether that's enough is debatable (hope so as it means we then only need about 18 points from our remaining 14 games).

Superb interview. Really interesting to see what many thought on KDH, but great to hear nonetheless.

If they get CL they will spend money but no doubt they'd still try and pay less for him than the option price. -
But thats not his respinsibility at all? What a micro manager.

It's a very good article and plenty of us pointed out on here that Maresca and his role in this system may have saved the longevity of his career. Invariably there'll be more running and combat next season if we go up but hopefully he still can cope as he's a class act. The pendulum swings on our most important player of the season but Ricardo is right up there, everything about him is top class.
-
It's hard to make a case for any of our players on goals and assists alone that will be comparable to when we go up. The way we play, the goals and assists are shared out in a very broad pattern and on paper it will make some players seem to be nothing special. Mavididi's attributes will suit the Prem, but the step up in class will require continued improvement especially on creating the angles to score and assist. Barnes struggled to beat his man but the one pattern of play he was coached and coached to improve on was arriving on to balls that needed hitting low in to either corner of the net. His development from 2018/19 onwards on this was vast.

It will largely stem from when it was very close between us back in October/November time. There were a stretch of games we both kept winning and our fans were incensed that a few of your wins were somewhat fortuitous. The Bristol City and Plymouth ones stick in the memory.
-
This would have been Sensi's jurisdiction.
-
We have an extremely good record at Elland Road, probably doesn't count for a lot in this present season as Leeds are formidable there but its going to be some game.
-
I think Mavididi has improved the most in our squad as the season has progressed. There's still some fine tuning to go in terms of end product but he's a joy to watch. His striking of the ball has got much cleaner, he was a master at the scuffed shot. I've gone from thinking he'll be easily thwarted in the Premier League should we go up, to him being the player I'm most excited to watch at that level if and when it happens.
-
Yeah it's going to be interesting. Wages have snookered us as much as the amount of transfer fees on the books across years. It's clear we're busy lowering them by the amount that will leave but need to be sensible on how we rebuild.
-
In still annoyed they beat us at their place. We had 4 or 5 sitters (although they had some great chances too). Either way, like vs Sheffield Wednesday it's pay back. 3-1 Leicester
-
Of course, but it's money that will hit 23/24 accounts. Promotions riches will benefit us in 24/25.
