Weirdly refusing to utilise the bench again today. Got to presume Mavididi is carrying a knock.
-
Got to be Mavididi on for the 2nd half unless he's carrying a knock and Enzo would rather not use him unless absolutely necessary.

HALLO PAT

So is Dennis, doesn't even have the intensity either that Yunus applies to make up for his slight frame. That said, Praet at this level should be more than good enough.
-
I'd like us to be awarded three penalties today please.
-
Odd that Yunus finally makes an impact and then gets completely ignored. Definitely don't want to commit to that permanent deal. Hopefully that midfield works today.

We did concede 2 in injury time and it finished 4-3 to us. -

Very impressive on the back of the away win vs Chelsea. Josh King hattrick. -
Corberan is a very astute manager, really rate him and Liam Rosenior. Hopefully both do us favours in thr coming weeks as well as rolling over and letting us do them 3 zip each.

Great night last night down at Heathcote Arms in Croft with Guillem Balague. Think this might be our favourite ever pod we've recorded. Balague's explanations on Enzo's football and other stuff is captivating. Why on earth is such a well renown Spanish football journalist now residing in Leicestershire you may ask? -

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Trai Hume is the most likely target, ticks every box that Enzo's system needs from such a player. -
It was β¬10m euros wasn't it?

Certain quarters have been desperate to get sin bins in to football for ages. This is horrendous. If there's any leagues that aren't going to do this, relegate us to that level please. I've had enough of this shit.

Wonder if that gets quoted in the rumoured salaries players are on. You whack them Β£5m signing on fee and Β£70k a week wages and that's essentially Β£90k a week for their entire contract.
-
Yunus is Β£8.5m

It's still Nigel who runs it. -
@st albans fox thinks signing on fees can be spread out, but not so sure on agents fees and the like.
-
Will end up paying that in additional bonuses and fees to agent and player if he comes on a free.
-
Fascinating insight from Maresca, also goes against the notion he wants his defenders to just keep knocking the ball about safely. He's challenging them advance it in to dangerous positions constantly. I think Nelson's natural at all aspects of the game, I don't really see a weakness. Fingers crossed his development pans out, I think it's going to be quick. He's ready.
-
We've at least a 3 game slip head start on them, but hopefully it won't come down to that.
-
Yeah I was too, this is the risk with cashing in on young players and it's about striking the balance. I think what swayed it was the fee was considerably high going the other way than perhaps if it was a PL team signing from Belgium and he'd only got experience there and no real affiliation with the UK so the combination probably made it a very good deal for us. History suggests an incredible deal as bar some decent performances in the CL for Brugge, he's struggled to kick on.
