  1. I imagine the plan is to get a lot of these loan moves.
  2. Tzolis is a winger, I know he's versatile as is Eze but looking at the system Palace play, it suits El Khannouss more.
  3. You watch him be as good as Ahmedzodic an'all.
  4. Would only be about £35-40m profit though wouldn't it? Let's hope we don't need to have cleared £60m PSR headroom otherwise Fatawu or many others need to go.
  5. I've never understood why Nelson doesn't get selected as the LCB when he does play for us. He's both footed and on all loan spells he's been commended for being able to play the left side. We put Faes there and him at RCB last week. Bizarre.
  6. If you only got £55m for Eze, you'd not spend over half of that on Bilal IMO.
  7. The complete disconnect is on Top and those he employs. The vacuum of silence is to blame, not the fans fractured relationship with the players. Do the players know why we have declined so badly? Do they know why we are financially mismanaged? Do they know why we have absolutely no refresh in to the squad yet this summer? Or are they as in the dark as we are? If they have been told some of this then they should perhaps have the awareness how unfair it is that our fanbase remain uncommunicated with and expected to idly back a washed up regime that's seemingly destined to reach a position worse than they found us. If they also have absolutely no clue then again they should perhaps be able to resonate with us. This club is an absolute mess
  8. Got the world at his feet, magnificent. A few more coming through as well. Please don't ruin this Leicester.
  9. Yeah they would. To be honest, I don't care. If they want to vilify us and use us as their fire to actually put the correct level of application in then so be it. Then they can sod off to pastures new when the chance presents itself.
  10. It would be typical of this squad if they were to raise their game and go on to win the game as a direct statement to our baying fans. In fact I can see it happening.
  11. If he's fit yes, unequivocally. Maybe another weeks training he will be but remains to be seen.
  12. Our fans shouldn't take offence to this in the same way as the players shouldn't take offence to a minority of our fans jeers that see's them cupping their ears at the fans and an anger as if they're being mistreated badly here by a gang of baying lunatics. Let's have it right, our fanbase overall is passive. It works both ways, passive is not good for generating a vociferous atmosphere but it also won't strike with venom like many others which these players and managers would feel hard done by. This is exactly what our club will be relieved about though. A divide that draws the attention away from the biggest problem, the problem that has caused the majority of this malaise. So whilst our fanbase can have a look at themselves in the mirror for general apathy, our players need to ask themselves whether their attitude has been acceptable in recent seasons. The culture here is appalling. The numerous articles from John Percy and Tom Collomosse who have honed in on the players mentality, managers that have tried to tackle it are quickly made to regret it. All against a backdrop of the biggest decline in Premier League history. The fans haven't caused that. They arguably sat back unsure on what they were witnessing under Brendan three seasons ago but the real contributors to that were those in the board room who to this day continue to operate without scrutiny or jeopardy. I'd measure this, probably with a touch of bias but the players have more of a disdain for this club and fanbase than the other way around. It's they that are more entitled and think they deserve bigger and better than us. They are the ones who have a chunk of this squad that want out and are phoning it in. Drain the swamp, whatever it takes. This club will plunder to new depths until it does, there's an air of inevitably about it. We are a social experiment, either chosen for us or subconsciously created by us. Mesmerising.
  13. Stolarczyk Aluko Faes Nelson Thomas Winks Page Fatawu Monga Mavididi Daka
  14. Luckily for him he's not allowed in it. Edited: beaten to it by @mod hero 😂
  15. There is major disarray. The squad is disjointed which is not then easy for a manager to be as effective as they may be able to but it's quite damning that this soon in to his reign they look way off it. This isn't about ability yet for either the manager or players. This squad, whilst is full of questionable characters with some noticeable areas of weakness are good enough to compete at this level but they won't with the current attitude they have. As we saw 3 seasons ago, when you have the perfect storm of deep routed malaise and a large number of players running their contracts down and/or don't want to be here and it's very much a possibility to massively under perform and get relegated. Could and should Marti get a better output from this lot if we are comfortably outside the top 6 after 5-6 games? Theoretically yes, but this is probably more on them than him in the short to medium term. He's not necessarily doing himself many favours picking certain players and I think he could and should have taken a harder stance with some of them to make it clear they should move on but he's probably well aware there's no guarantee they would go, nor will he likely get many or any incomings like Enzo got so he'd then be left with even less of a relationship with some of this lot. How Soumare and Ayew got 90 minutes yesterday though is beyond me. Soumare has cost a few other managers before and I hope he doesn't fall in to the same trap. He has to sort the midfield and quickly. I hope Wednesday and yesterday has been a wake up call for the club, we cannot rely on a squad that on paper should still be good enough as their mentality is arguably more important than talent. We must get some fresh personnel in, do whatever it takes to move 3-4 more of them out and then beg, steal and borrow for some key additions through the spine of the team.
  16. Could be one of very few positives this season, so got to appreciate him even more. Exceptional goal from him, I know he's a special talent and the other academy players should not be expected to deliver but I'd honestly rather see another few more in fighting for the team than the disdain we are getting from so many of our experienced players. This club is sinking fast, so sad to see but this lad will go right to the very top.
  17. Get this mardy little pillock out of the club, who on earth does he think he is. Pathetic.
  18. Astonishing to have the latter under a new regime let's be honest. This is the damnation of the decline of our football club that remains untouched off the field. Whatever decline needs to happen in order for the lot of them to go including owners, just do it already.
  19. Appears to be yet another regime that we'll be renowned for having a good chance in the 1st 5 mins and miss it, to then not create anything else all half and be slow and laboured. The manager will say we weren't quick and intense enough blah blah blah. I don't know what the problem is in this football club but it's deep routed. These players do not look receptive to this new manager on today's showing, look entrenched in decline.
  20. What even are we as a team? Can't pass and can't defend either. Disturbing, need a massive shake up 2nd half.
  21. McAteer winner
  22. 1-1 at the min, Riley Carr with our goal
  23. Set up the equaliser. Mavididi set up the winner.
