I've never been a fan of the clappers but Saturday changed my view on them a little bit... There was a kid next to me in SK1 with his Dad and he must have been only 7 or 8. He was stood on his seat next to me and was bashing his clapper all game (kept hitting me on the arm the little bastard) He knew the words to every chant and he never stopped singing - absolute legend. He loved his clapper even though it annoyed the fvck out of me. Maybe there's a place for them so the kids/older folk can get involved. I dunno...

MON is a wonderful additional to White & Jordan on TalkSport. A lovely 10 mins here of him reminiscing about Cloughie 20 years after his passing.

Was thinking this myself. Ordered mine Sept 13th, so 10 days ago and they haven't arrived yet. Still plenty of time I guess...

Leicester City versus Everton Tactical Analysis
Izzy replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
There’s no way @StriderHiryu holds down a full time job with the time required to do all this analysis and video editing. No way. He’s either a lottery winner or has rich parents. -
I expected him to have more muscly legs.

Never heard anyone refer to us as the Fulham of the Midlands. I remember us getting plaudits from everywhere for our atmosphere when we won the PL so we know we're capable of making a racket when we want to. I was behind the singing section on Saturday and despite the efforts of UFS and some others, I thought it was generally poor. I know everyone has a responsibility to lift the team and sing their hearts out but fvck me it's a challenge when we're being served up the current dross.

Will be buying my daughter her first car soon so in a similar position. Well worth watching this for some ideas.

Been seeing this a lot about Rory since the US Open. I think everyone in the golf world holds him to such a high standard that being runner up seems like a failure. Bottom line is he's won over 40 times worldwide including 4 majors and the Players, plus won the US and European order of merit four times each. That's Hall of Fame stuff plus his RC exploits means he'll be remembered as a legend of the game. Jack Nicklaus came 2nd 19 times in majors but he was never labeled a bottler and I think it's unfair that Rory is getting this treatment. He's in contention week after week and consistently been in the world top 10 for the last 15 years. If he stays fit and healthy he's still got another 8-10 years at the top of the game and I'm sure has many more wins ahead of him. I'm a huge fan and love watching him play. Probably the best driver of the golf ball ever.

Fair play to him, I'm not surprised he's released his own range. He's been in the game for years and wouldn't put his name to something shite, so I imagine the quality will be decent. I'm always a bit dubious of the durability of a 5 or 8 year ceramic coating though. I recently put this 3 year coating on my wife's car which seems very similar to Pan's https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/collections/ceramic-coatings/products/diamond-protech-diamond-body-36-kit?variant=40757906964559 The prices of all the products in his range seem in line with other premium brands so I'd guess it's top end. He's a great salesperson, I'll give him that

Yeah maybe, I've never really thought about it tbh. Also notice some people now sign off with just there first initial rather than their name as if they're some sort of pop star Cheers I
-
I've noticed some people now abbreviating that to just "Best" followed by their name - makes me cringe And KR rather than "Kind regards" also seems to be a thing. I tend to finish with "Cheers" or "Speak soon" which are equally as wanky I suppose

Enjoyed this. Think Cheika could be a great fit for the Tigers.

Great scenes at Wentworth, fantastic crowds. Would be happy for Rory, Billy Ho or Aaron Rai to win. Basically anyone but Thriston Lawrence.

It's all about the Benjamin's with AJ... Joshua has spoken of his ambition to surpass Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s reported career earnings of $700 million, saying in an interview with GQ, "When I first started, the aim was to become a multi-millionaire. But now there are ordinary people, grandmas and grandads, who are worth millions just because of property prices. So the new school of thought is that I need to be a billionaire. Being a millionaire is good but you have to set your sights higher."

Popped in to see my parents on the way home after the game and my Dad says "It must have been pretty bad weather for the game to be delayed!" I said "It wasn't Dad, you must be mistaken or got us confused with another game" Then I find out on the match reports later that the second half was delayed by seven minutes. I didn't have a clue in the stadium

Is this common knowledge or are you just guessing?

Cudos to the UFS Cappo curly perm guy who spent the entire match with his back to the pitch looking up at the singing section trying to get things going. Don't think he saw any of the game bless him.

95 is a ripe old age, he had a good innings. I bet he enjoyed nearly every minute being in nature, wildlife, and travelling the world.

My Mum's tried two different types of Chemo during the last nine months but the cancer keeps coming back. They've offered her a third go but she's declined as she had no quality of life on Chemo. We know it's only short term now but she currently looks and feels better now she's stopped her treatment. On Chemo she was permanently exhausted, pretty much bed ridden, and hardly eating. At least now she can go out and about a little bit with the time she's got left. I really don't blame people for declining Chemo, it must be horrible being pumped full of poison with all the side effects. Just a case of letting nature take it's course now...

Bless you mate, that's so sad. My Mum is dying from pancreatic cancer and the chemo hasn't worked. We know she hasn't got long left and my Dad is struggling to come to terms with it. I hope your family are all pulling together and supporting each other through this difficult time.

Which teams are supported in your workplace?
Izzy replied to TiffToff88's topic in General Football and Sport
I'll substitute office/place of work for golf club as I spend more time there and mainly work for myself from home. I'm based in Bucks and so far this year have played golf with fans of: Arsenal (lots of) Spurs West Ham Chelsea Millwall QPR Liverpool Oxford Luton Celtic Man Utd MK Dons Forest Villa Plus others I've forgot.. Generally speaking, when they know I'm a Leicester fan the response is always positive. Most still want to talk about our title win and were genuinely happy for us. -
Tom Brady merrily clapping along as the players are having a brawl. He ain't got a clue
