  1. I have a friend who is a Bristol City fan and they all absolutely love him. Did a good job at Watford as well
  2. This feels so obvious it is maddening. As fans we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and those people could all be bellends or thick as two planks, but surely there's a role they could be playing (other than in the cringe video before games and nostalgia panels).
  3. Depends what happens in the next 6 weeks. If we've not removed multiple cancers by then and have a new board / manager in place, there's no reason to think we will be competitive in League One.
  4. Agree with all of this except the "managed decline". That suggests it's gradual and planned - we have unmanaged descent!
  5. I think those fans just wanted him to encourage him to take a good corner and not see the club relegated mate. Winks was clearly unpopular amongst the fans. That doesn't mean they don't want him to score or assist a desperately needed goal. I was surprised he was included in the squad and the decision to bring him on after the first feel-good moment in months sums up Rowett's emotional intelligence.
  6. It's now utterly undeniable that we need a full reset and change in direction. Bellend board members and players must be managed out of the club - Faes, Mavididi, Winks, Kristiansen, etc. Let's start treating character as a vital criteria. While this is the worst moment I've seen, but other proper lows like the Stoke relegation and the Watford play off were catalysts for some of my best times as a fan. Maybe we'll go down and grow a proper team with allegedly good young players with a bit of experience thrown in. Then come back as a financially-stable force with lots of improving local talent. ... and maybe Jamie Vardy can be persuaded for one last hurrah and hopefully finish his career on a high with another league title (Andy King's achievements in reverse 😂)... Manager: Nigel Pearson (/Will Still) Stolarczyk Aluko - Souttar - Nelson - Thomas Skipp - Braybrooke - Page Evans - Vardy - Monga(/Alves)
  7. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was Will Still. Whoever it is I want them in quickly and I want them to come as a package with a competent Director of Football. Nigel Pearson and Steve Walsh...?
  8. Those are bots. Are you new to the internet? 😂
  9. Why does this crap continue to get pushed? Nobody is KPFC.
  10. I'm not sure the rules, but can't he be pinched for a pittance before he joins on a pro deal?
  11. Seems his 17th birthday is on 10 July. Guess that gives him plenty of scope to agree a move before his pro deal kicks in.
  12. If he were to leave would it be on a free / for a nominal fee? I don't think he can be properly under contract until he turns 18 (may be wrong!). Tbh I've not seen what the fuss is about, but presumably people who know what potential looks like can see it in him.
  13. Sorry mate there are lots of better words you can use - eg bellend, dickhead. Frustrating day but there's never a right time to use that word as a criticism.
  14. I heard an interview with him recently where he was saying Ruben Amorim was right to stick with the same system despite it not working. Said a manager should not change formations or tactics, if results are poor they should just change the players. Sounds like our board would love him...
  15. I think the start of COVID. I don't think we've ever felt the same since. FA Cup win was obviously a massive high, but that was very much with the foundations laid before covid and a little bit of good luck.
  16. Regardless of the extension I think he'll still move on this summer. Probably on a season's loan to some French team, with us still paying the majority of his wages, until his contract expires. Still worth it though - get him out.
  17. Will still be the same team on Tuesday. I really hope the entire squad put in transfer requests and somebody else is stupid enough to sign them.
  18. When Hamza made his debut (I think against Newcastle during an injury crisis), it was quite clear the other players were not passing the ball to him as he wasn't ready for the first team. He's regressed since then.
  19. I'll admit it - I wanted him (if Pearson wasn't able to do the job). Obviously I got that call completely wrong. He's managed the club exactly the same as the failures who came before him. Makes me question if our 'managers' are even in charge - feels like they're told they have to play the 'Leicester' way (despite it being found out years ago and not having the players to do it).
  20. 100% - this happened to me loads this season on this forum. I am dumbfounded why different managers and so many fans have been committed to a clearly failing system.
  21. Hmm... I think your memory is being slightly selective. Martin O'Neill's book has loads of rants about our fans being extremely negative - even when things were going well. The last game at Filbert Street was ruined for me because a guy behind me dedicated the whole match to giving Muzzy Izzet abuse, because he was expected to be leaving after the relegation. I had a go back at him at one point... a grown man being told to shut up by a kid aged about 15! Similarly, in one of the Champion's League games there was a fan constantly on Mahrez's back for being "greedy". The most skilful player we've ever had, playing at a stage he was instrumental in getting us to. Unbelievable... The only period of real success is when they drowned out the moaning with clackers
  22. The obvious answer is the right answer. Nigel Pearson with Wes Morgan as his assistant.
  23. None of us know what happens behind closed doors. Grown adults creating storylines in their head as if it's Hollyoaks Top's only action after putting the club up for sale should be appointing external auditors to do a root and branch review of what's gone wrong off and on the pitch and get rid of the dross.
  24. Team for first 60 Begovic Veste Lascelles Okoli Aluko Thomas Winks Skipp Aribo Daka Ayew Team for last 30 Begovic Pereira Veste Okoli Thomas Winks Skipp Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi Daka
  25. Leicester 2-1 Swansea Pompey 1-0 Leicester Leicester 1-1 Hull Leicester 0-2 Millwall Blackburn 1-1 Leicester 5 points from 5 games, with the most important one lost.
