Chris Weale was actually pretty decent in his first season here. Remember strong suggestions that Premier league clubs were looking at him in his first January transfer window. Went down hill after that though

Danny Ward is the worst in living memory by a mile. Never seen a team become so fragile knowing theyve got him behind them with anyone else. Kasper, Shilton and Banks have to be up there for best ever goal keeper

Fofana to Wout Faes has to be the biggest downgrade. Danny Ward pound for pound for actual ability and his role in the demise of the club has to be number one on the list for me

We’d rather sign players from abroad then take exceptional, hungry young players from the EFL. In recent times Watkins, Eze, Olise, Wharton, Rogers, Bowen etc have all stepped up. We last signed a player in 2019 from an EFL club while in the Prem. There is no value in signing from fellow Prem teams as they are already on ridiculous wages. Its just a poor scouting system/approach from the club
