Yeah i had a feeling mata would score. And coutinho when he took his free kick. But tbf they are both class at free kicks. I do wonder about kaspers positioning as well tho..

Cool dude. Can even see a newcastle fan clapping him
-
Massive hype around the signing of him but he's not impressed at all. I think there is potential there but he hasn't showed it yet.

The guy behind us last night said "I'm goin - I can't see us scoring" this was about the 85th minute. I looked at my Dad as if to say WTF, his expression was also one of bewilderment. If I've learnt anything from being a Leicester fan it's that you never leave until the final whistle!

Hi thanks for the post. Must say your team are dominating and what I like about Man City at the moment is their players have no egos. Theres no mardiness in the team or arrogance. There's a lot of togetherness and unity in your team this season and it reminds me of when we won the league - you can see the same juggernaut type steam rolling you're doing. Infact I think I've only ever clapped two players from the opposition team off the field and one of them was Bergkamp in 97 when he scored that out of this world hatrick. An absolute genius... and fast forward 20 years later I clapped De Bruyne off when he got subbed against us couple of weeks back. He is my favourite non leicester player in the world. An absolute genius in the same sphere as Bergkamp was. And when you see someone with a God given talent like that I have to applaud it. Hope we beat you tonight!

Would you go full strength against Man City?
smr replied to The Horse's Mouth's topic in Leicester City Forum
full strength cup and league. I'm not the oldest leicester supporter but not the youngest either.. but some of the best days, apart from the obvious winning the league were in the 90s going to wembley and the semi final games - and all those play off final games... so to go to wembley to compete in a cup final is a magical feeling and one i'm sure we'd all love to relive - or experience for the first time if you're teenager. winning the league, as incredible as it is is a different kind of emotion to a cup final. -
Shinji is having his best season for us. At the start of the season he was banging goals in too - remember Swansea as well and that overhead kick?

It's like a near enough the same but more mature team with a lovely passing it around with counter still mixed into it. Beautiful to watch.

There are no easy games in this leagues. Every team can produce a result on their day. It'll be interesting match for sure... Their manager: "It will be crucial to try to keep the ball as much as possible, and to try to be really balanced when we're close to them with the ball." As we're now trying to play with a lot more posession and keeping the ball ourselves it'll be interesting to see what the ensuing dynamics look like. I'd probably take a draw right now but I've got a sneaky feeling we'll win... 2-1.

What a night. Had seats in SK4 near the back for this one, exactly the same seat I sat in for the Man City game. It was broken then so I thought they'd have fixed it in time for last night, however it was still a bit wonky so I had a chat with a steward about it and thinking they'd send someone up with a spanner to screw the bolts back in. He said we could sit in different seats though so we ended up sitting where the disabled people sit and were right next to Kasper's goal in the first half as close to the pitch as you can get (except for the ball boys). Absolutely brilliant view, I've been to several hundred Leicester games during my life and although sat amongst the front rows I've never sat waist height of the players. What really struck me was how fast the game is, you really get a much better perception of that than sitting up in the stands. It's not just the speed of play physically, it's the mental speed of thought, it's just so quick now Premier League football is and it's extremely impressive. The game itself: massive result, two superb goals, brilliant performance, obviously tired a bit in the second half but it's obvious this will be worked on. The level of intensity in the first half and that speed of play must be hard to keep up for a full 90 - until the lads get used to it more. And it's so good to see us keeping the ball on the ground passing it around. I think Puel is trying to combine fast, fluid passing football whilst still retaining that deadly counter attacking style of ours and it's a joy to watch.

why has rudkin not been sacked yet? apart from maguire who have we signed thats actually decent in the last couple of years?
-
I can't see how 1,000 tickets aren't going to be snapped up the 30+ points meaning the 25+ and lower points will be going into a ballot every game.
-
still a pisstake though, how they can't add CL games on is ridiculous. Cost a lot of money to go to all of them, and then we went to all the league cup games as well. So much for a loyalty system.
-
What an absolute piss take, I've got 29 points... why didn't they include Champions League games as well?
-
Quality, looks a good signing!
