I’m not really surprised that some of players seemingly give up when there’s pressure to score, we’ve gone whole halves without registering a shot on target many times. Passing around the pitch in a horseshoe shape endlessly. Rodgers set that precedent when he made the switch at half time. Then wonders why they get deflated when asked to chase when there’s no indication we have the form or guile to do it. Not taking the blame From the players fully as there are some question marks there but Rodgers need to seriously rethink his strategy if he’s to be successful here

Had enough of these players as a group, individually there’s some talent in there but clearly somethings not right with them. Forever buckling under pressure, no invention nor bravery.

Just zero instinctive passing and movement in the middle. Nobody knows what to do other than pass it around from side to side and hope

I’m not his number 1 fan but he’s getting the ball in the opposition half way too often as there’s nobody with space in the middle. He’s dangerous when we’ve got the ball in the middle and Ben is making that run in behind his opposite number. BR fix it please.

Got to try something different here. Find a formation which frees up space for Youri/Madders if they play. Give palace a problem which they aren’t prepared for.

Teams took a while to adjust and ended up giving Youri the time he needs and Madders the space. Now they just put men on them most of the game and In turn it gets channeled out wide.

The pressure is certainly on for him
