Stoke City (A) Match Thread

I'm liking the spaces Mcateer is finding. More movement in 20 mins that Dennis achieved 2 games. -
How can they still be negotiating after weeks. Surely the only thing that should have been in the balance was the yes or no!
-
I'm off to Sicily at Easter. I'll get it sorted then lads. Chill!!
-
This selling lark is so resembling a car boot sale. You put your unwanted tat on a table. Price it for £2 quid on a cold Sunday morning. And some tight arse walks when you won't go to 50p.
-
Enuresis can blight many children and geriatrics lives. Shame on you!! Stay on topic
-
This saga is beyond tedious. Matty Elliots match commentary is more inspiring than this nonsense.
-
You must hurry up Sensi. Otherwise we might have to see more of Praet. And none wants that. Not even Dennis himself!!
-
That was a tragic display. Black hole of nothingness. Enzo doesn't make early subs often. But even he'd had enough.

Yeah I think Praet does his best work in the physio's room -

Praet lives. Show us what we've been missing all this championship season -
Yes. Say it's so?

I'm a bit bored of this. This thread has lasted longer than his hammy is likely to!!

No playing around the back today. That nonsense will give me a heart attack. -

That's FA cup exit strategy. Most of them have barely played any football -
If this is the only way we can sign anyone. Then I'll go without a January signing. But if this still has to happen regardless. Then our club is totally shambolic. As where's the contingency planning? Don't tell me the broken Italian geezer is the contingency!! We'd need 5 of him to replace the legs on KDH

It's simple mathematics. 30 mil now jeopardises the 100+ mil promotion brings. And you still have the asset to sell down the line. Only silly money would convince a sale now. And 30 mil isn't silly enough - by half!!!
-
Can you just feck off Dennis. This relationship is over. Have some self-respect.
-
Frustrating isn't it. I'm sure in the O'Neil era we regularly saw a new player turn out for minutes. Even before they'd unpacked their car!!
-
Your totally correct. It's totally endemic in our team. The caution first, inspiration second approach. However in the Mcateer example above. It was just rank crap play 🤣
-
Given the fresh legs Ipswich were piling on to chase the game. And us getting more and more overrun. It is criminal that we didn't add more legs to our own midfield until after the 80mins mark. Totally odd use or in fact 'non' use of a bench.
-
Took a cracking ball on the run over the top. Headed straight towards the danger area (box). Then bizarrely turned left, and ultimately ended up sending it all the way back to Mads or the CB's. Sums it up really!!

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

There's just an arrogance that we have done enough. Unless you 3-0 up you've never done enough. The team is talented. Buy they play in such a prescribed formulaic way. They can't react or be spontaneous. They just tick along expecting a positive outcome to be inevitable. Sadly not always lads -

Hasba player ever regressed as much as him. He barely knows what forward is these days. Where's the marauding JJ gone? -
But we had enough chances tonight. We just didn't take them.
