  1. Dennis is pretty consistent across his tenure with LCFC. Just when you start to think he could possibly be an asset. You realise - oh no he isn't. As he's either crocked or bang average on the park. I will remember him fondly for being pretty insignificant - but consistent with it!!
  2. Whilst he didn't really put a defensive foot wrong. His tempo and passing wasn't the same as the other 2. But then again.. He's played a fraction of their games. So should we expect him to be fully up to speed?
  3. I'm saddened because I always thought he was an honest pro. Even when unfairly give bit parts when playing well in previous seasons. He didn't moan and tried his hardest. But this season is like his mum's making him play. Stroppy half hearted teen with a grump on!!!
  4. We were too passive 2nd half. Conceded the impetus to Ipswich. Who in credit to them. Just kept plugging away. I think the subs turned out to be a mistake. As our attacking play just nose dived from 60mins onwards. Hey ho. We live and learn!!!
  5. He's a waste of space. Surely the mins would have been much better in Cannons legs. Nacho can't trot off to Afcon quick enough for me
  6. Patson all the way for me. Kel's era (if he had one) has gone.
  7. Unbelievably so. Played like he was the only fix on the park. How's about a pass??
  8. Looking for 2 for this. West country based fox. 1 adult & 1 child. But would take any 2. Thanks
  9. Has a keeper ever had less to do? Could have pulled an armchair up and wrapped his Xmas presents.
  10. It can't hurt. But for me, he's about 5th in line for a CAM berth.
  11. Wowsers. Did you write all that, just because the other chap described the first half as "frustrating". Are you a 'patient' fella?
  12. Love his drive forward with the ball. Could do with that across the back line. It asks questions of a team. Particularly when they've parked the tanker
  13. Rotherham were woeful. But we won it comfortably in 3rd gear. Looking forward to us torching the tractor on Boxing Day.
  14. Doing what a striker should. Having an impact.
  15. You've really honed in on the word 'against'. Which was a random tool I used, to describe those current fans who aren't overly sold on Daka's current efforts as our starting striker. It certainly wasn't meant as a comment on him as a human being. I hear what your saying about Ndidi's return. But my post was about the merits of our current 4 strikers to enhance team performance. And currently Patson gets a 👍from me.
  16. His attacking & natural instincts are entirely curbed in this formation. It's like asking Maddison to play left back.
  17. I will repeatedly applaud his distribution skills. As he plays the quarter back passing role extremely well. Which suits us perfectly in this current champ season. But I won't be swayed into believing he can cope with Premiership/world class strikers. That ship sailed a long time ago.
  18. Decision making last night was fairly wonky at times. But that's the player he is. He will mature and create more and more.
  19. There are some very tidy finishes amongst them. So he's not just a striker barging through the championship. Evidently got some skills.
  20. I find it remarkable how polarised opinions are on here re Patson. Do those 'against' posters feel Nacho/Vards have stepped forward this season? Because I think overall they've been woeful. And on top coin for it. Whilst the Patson era hasn't seen every attack result in the net bulge. Certainly not from Patson himself. You can't have missed that our attacking intent has more zip, purpose and a 4th / 5th gear about it. That isn't a coincidence at all. So I for one, am in no rush to see the return of the overpaid coasters. Keep going Patson.
  21. I'm happy to see how he develops. He seems mobile enough. But his cameos recently have been pretty low key. Time will tell!
  22. I just think it's the wrong formation & position for him. He's a marauding full back. Being asked to play conservatively. It's simply not playing to his strengths. But he is taking one of the team. Being a pro.
  23. His pace, movement and effort has undoubtedly helped the team. Particularly the wingers.
  24. Some of our attacking play tonight was scintillating. Lethal pace going forward.
  25. I have to defend Patson tonight. Was watching him closely. Made numerous cracking runs which should have been fed. Stephy will get the plaudits tonight. But had a few of those passes been made to Patson. Rather than the wide boys stuff it up their jumper. Then possible different story. Both wide boys and KDH ignored Patson again again. Shame.
