I know what you mean re Perez. But Yunus hits the deck far less often than Anyone. And at least he recycles. Perez could be a black hole. If the ball went in there, it never came back out!!!
Played well today. He reminds me a little of Maddison. Picking those pockets between the lines. Much more suited to a faster tempo. So he gets space quickly. And his small stature becomes less of a issue. Slow play leaves him exposed to getting muscled off the ball.
Okay. Well if you don't have an expressed view I will fill the gap for you. On previous performances in the Prem for us. The level was poor. But he's cruising in the Championship. So I really don't know if it can transfer upwards again
I'm torn on lurch. The dilemma is tricky. Does this level & formation totally play into his skillset. Or is he capable of being adaptable and playing at a higher level. History says - no. But context is everything!!(
I'd love us to get some dosh. But whose paying for a lad who could be off to a tourno for the next month? If they don't need him right now. Surely a club would wait for a free in the summer.
Much better 2nd half. Upped the tempo in places. And unfortunate not to get 1 or 2 more. Can someone explain though why Cannon got only 10 mins. Ideal game to get him more match time.
That's a fair comment. I thought he looked way behind the other 2 in terms of ability. But as you say. He's had considerably less opportunity to get into the grove.
I was hopeful for Yunus. But he's had a stop / start LCFC existence so far. And not really shown enough in those glimpses. I think he's a tidy enough player. But with one eye hopefully on promotion. He's not shown the necessary quality to be an asset in a higher league. Sorry fella!
