Yunus Akgün Officially Signs!
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If he had stopped doing an impression of done bloke called Under. I would have been totally waxing about his performance. Just release it earlier fella. Once you've done the hard work. You don't need to do it again!!! -

Put simply, I thought we were awesome tonight. Worked our socks of and kept persevering. Didn't resort to locking it up. And should have bagged a few more. Top work fellas. -
Agree. Best and most mature performance I've ever seen from Hamza.
-
He was absolute class tonight. Save for missing his dink 😂. Joking aside, I never thought I'd ever praise him. Now I'm amazed by him!!!

Not impressed with that line up. We will struggle to retain and use possession. I wonder what it would have looked like if we hadn't lost two league games in a row. No.3 sadly looks likely to me. -
I always believe at the top level winning & losing mindsets become dominant quickly. 2 defeats in a row will have wobbled us. So for that reason I don't hold with trotting out a 2nd choice weaker team. As that just invites a slump to bed in even further

Brendan Making The Headlines It Seems
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to ElusiveEd's topic in General Football and Sport
Headline - Rogers found to be an arrogant, condescending, self serving @#£+!!! No ........Sherlock!!! -
I'm not going to pile into Daka. As I recognise the wider picture of what his energy brings to our attack. But boy for a 30 mil / international striker does he look crap at times. His hit reel of air shots, misses, tripping over etc. Would make painful viewing. Is it his basic technique being iffy? Or is it in the head? Not sure what the issue is. But there's some fundamentals missing with our Patson
-
Your so right. When he has a go at skinning a FB on the outside he invariably gets results. But bizarrely he does it so infrequently. Preferring to chop in on the left peg and cross it. He's like a top golfer with a full set of clubs. But never takes his putter out. Just DO IT Fats!!!
-
I don't mind extending. But not at a princely sum or super long contract. As whilst he has stepped up this season. He looked woeful on previous Prem showings for us. So it still feels a punt to me. Definitely if he's seen as a definite Prem starter.
-
If he didn't punctuate his excellent work ethic and good bits with regular honking stuff. I'd be much more of an Daka advocate. But when he near enough trips over the ball I'm like - WTF Patson, really???
-
He's class. So in a week when transfer strategy left us agog. We should praise the recruitment. As I'd never heard of him before he arrived. Still gems out there!
-
History has shown - Elliot, Taggart, Walsh, Moose Marshall(?), more laterally Evans. That pace in a CB is not entirely essential. However, Vester is truly beyond slow. So whilst I applaud his resurrection in the Championship. I think it's more that he's found his ideal level. I would be scared to death of him at the heart of a Prem defence.

I thought he looked imperious today. Collecting and turning on it. Leaving Stoke players in his wake. His technical ability is vastly ahead of nearly all in this division.

Yeah, I do wonder. I suspect we are fully committed to Fatawu purchase now. So maybe Yunus playing will be collateral damage -
Stoke (A) 0-5 -- Post-Match Thread
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
We were much more assertive in attack today. Hitting the burners when required. Rather than stuck in 3rd gear. No surprises it yielded a big score line. Really enjoyable to watch. We have weapons all over the pitch. -
Looked very accomplished. Would be great to have a CB for the future already in the squad.

Those saying Praet gets the nod as more defensive. Score a 3rd and that's all the defence you need. -
