It feels a little disingenuous trying diminish those Forest achievements I, just about, remember them… Winning the league in the way they did and winning two European cups on the bounce, irrespective of how and when it was achieved, was and continues to be unbelievably impressive…. We’d be dining out on it for years, as we will with our more recent achievements…. The two sets of achievements were very different…. Folk often fall into the trap of trying to compare them!

My lads at Sheff Uni…. He’s been properly brought up and knows where to drink…. He’s found all the good boozers (which are still busy)…. He lived next to the Rutland arms in his first year and would often stroll down to Kelham island too…. Wrong thread, but Sheffield is ace for pubs… My daughter is away at the moment, and she’s said there’s a massive growing trend for non-drinkers…. I won’t judge that too harshly to be fair… just a different era
