  1. WIN!! Don’t care how, just WIN!!!!
  2. This will be answered by the end of next weekend. If we don’t take atleast 4 points from the next 2 then I think you can make a reasonable argument to say we’re feeling the pressure at the business end of the season. Yes we have injuries, but so does every other team. We need to find a way to win games, that’s all that matters now!
  3. Awful, placid first half. Literally waste 45mins doing nothing of note. I seen at one point we had 71% possession and 7 shots on goal vs none for QPR but that didn’t reflect the half at all, it was so slow and laid back we literally wasted a full half … then we go a goal down and seemingly think “oh, we better be a bit more serious and intent when in possession, that’s what killed us for me. JJ was calamitous in and out of possession, a pathetic performance. He looks complacent when defending thinking his pace will bail him out, early ish on they had it on our byline, and he ‘pre-empted’ the player would pass it back out wide and went charging out wide, which luckily the player did, but he literally could have turned on it and drove right into our box unchallenged if he had any more composure. That set the tone for JJ’s performance, consistently got too tight and turned, in possession … wow. The guy is useless. This game was screaming for Doyle to come on who is a lot more assured on the ball and couldn’t have possibly defended worse. Hamza was great against Leeds and Bournemouth, but in a game where you dominate the ball, you don’t want Hamza dictating play, like JJ he’s incapable of playing forward to any reasonable level, simply not good enough and we massively missed Ricky. It’s going to be very interesting how we get on over the next week now, 2 x tough away games to come, let’s see what character we have … and more importantly, what quality we have going forward. We’re making an absolute hash of this title win!!
  4. Absolutely superb few days! As many have said we took big numbers so didn’t see any issues outside the ground at pubs etc, plus you’ll have half the city (Lazio fans) rooting for you! We had a brilliant time, the coach journey to the ground was my highlight, hilarious scenes with mopeds in pursuit and Italian riot vans from the 80’s swerving to try and keep them at bay. In the ground, you will get pelted with flares, smoke bombs, lighters, coins etc, it’s Italian culture, it will happen and the police won’t attempt to stop it so it will go on all game, which funnily enough made it that more enjoyable. Would have been great if we had anything to shout about in the actual game itself! A bit like us, 100% go if you can as you never know when you’ll next be in a European campaign and can never take anything for granted. Some amazing memories from Rome and our other European trips over the years 👍🏻👍🏻
  5. Thought we were poor today, yet still created and missed some great chances. Vesty and Daka missing headers from a combined 4 yards was absolutely criminal, both horrendous misses which had a massive impact on the game. Boro had chances to score more and we missed another 2 sitters from Vesty and Vards in the second half too. Wingers were ineffective, KDH was poor and wasteful, just a really bad day at the office. Let’s see what we bring to the party on Friday … be a good test of character!
  6. Wes - definitely Huth - I think so
  7. Exactly mate, there’s no way he agrees to a one year deal, I would be worried about what wage he is commanding too as it’s undeniable he has been superb this season. Like most, I worry about how exposed he will be at Premier League level with his lack of pace, and Enzo is going to have to be adaptable in approach otherwise we’ll be doing a Burnley I fear, unless we can significantly strengthen the starting 11.
  8. He won’t agree a one year deal though will he, so it will be a minimum of 2 otherwise he won’t sign … he has some leverage tbf after he’s been our number 1 defender in the ball playing role, which is integral to Enzo’s system.
  9. Were any of the pies “steak & ale” by any chance? I bet our fans were rinsing the ale out of em to get some alcohol in them!
  10. They didn’t do that last season until it was way too late! Imagine if they ‘jumped the gun’ next season. Would be criminal. They (the board) need to back Enzo in the market in the summer. We need a plethora of technical, quality ball players who can implement his style. It will be an incremental process, and staying up next season is priority #1 using upgraded players, the season after hopefully a further improvement with better recruits who can implement the style further.
  11. Ahhh yessss, forgot he plays for us!
  12. You need to update Southampton’s points my friend. They’re on 64pts from 30 games.
  13. Who’s JM? You’re not talking about someone’s dad are ya!!??
  14. That exactly how we came unstuck at Hillsborough. It was a flat, complacent performance and they fully deserved the point. Plus playing Faes LB! Hoping we put them to the sword, I think they will come and press like they did at home and fancy that they can win the ball high (they did about 3 times in the first 10/15mins at Hillsborough). If they do that, I think we’ll play right through them this time and rip them a new one! Bring it on!
  15. We should have been singing that last season, not this 🤣
  16. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but what’s different with Vesty there? It’s bugging me.
  17. This is entirely plausible btw, in my many years of dealing with Italian businesses, they are notoriously ‘pushy’ and will (in my experiences), cut their noses off to spite their face! It’s all conjecture, but if Inter did do that, then I’m pleased we stood our ground, equally, maybe we were trying to shaft Inter and screw them down at the 11th hour. Again, I don’t mind that. Maybe the clubs true position was that we will bring him in if we can get him for X, and used the full length of the window to apply pressure. If you put yourself in Inter’s shoes …. This guy doesn’t get a game … literally doesn’t get on the pitch, and has a few months left on his contract. Why wouldn’t you accept the only bid you’ve had to get him off your books and get some spare change in the coffers (refer to my original point above). It’s disappointing not to bring Sensi in, but hopefully he got a hard on at Seagrave, had a dip in the pool and said “Caio for now” and we’ll see him in July!
  18. You can’t comment on this thread so close to the deadline, it will give people false hope something was happening late in the window …
  19. And that’s just on FoxesTalk!
  20. Can’t we literally sign the guy “subject to work permit approval” …? Or are Inter telling us to f-off and we’ve gotta pay even if we cluster**** it up!? 🤔
  21. HOOOOOOOOOOF!!!
  22. We literally should … !
  23. It is indeed … Maidstone at home or Covpot or Florest!
