  1. Don’t bother … we’re £100m out of pocket and years back from where we were, stadium expansion put on hold, largely in part because another club ‘cheated’ and you think don’t bother… Geeeeez!! Hammer them for every penny we can get, they deserve it and we deserve compensation for it. We could have done the same last season and just ignored FFP, bought players in and stayed up, but we acknowledged the rules and subsequently paid the penalty. Morally, we absolutely should pursue them for compensation!
  2. Yeah he wasn’t half as bad as some of the absolute shambles we’ve had. Although only playing an extra 30 seconds on top of the added on time when they had players going down and substitutions made seemed ridiculous.
  3. His end product was a little hit and miss in the 2nd half, but he still created 2 big opportunities … - beat his man and hung the ball up to the back post for KDH’s header (our only effort on target). - drove his man into the box and did a great square ball to Nacho who hit the defender with his shot.
  4. Pretty poor performance all round I thought, thought Ricardo was absolutely phenomenal, JJ had a great game in the main and both Fatawu and Mavididi had moments, but not sustained for large periods. Let’s see how we bounce back now. Something similar to the Hull defeat would do nicely! 💪🏻💙🦊
  5. He’s been in decent form in recent weeks, but this position was always our weakest one tonight without the Ndidi and Yunus options. He wasn’t great, but neither was the whole team performance. I thought our 4 wide players all had good games but Leeds deserved the win. Onwards and Upwards (not that we can go any higher at the moment!)
  6. A proper LCFC legend! Funny story, he was having a stroll around Western Park one Sunday morning as a bunch of Sunday league games were on and he was walking past our team as we were having our half time ‘teamtalk’ (smoke / piddle). I leant back and said “bet you’ve not seen quality like this before hey Matt”, to which he replied “definitely not!”. We pretty much became best mates after that, he doesn’t know that, but I do. Had a beer with him in Rome too, top bloke! 👍🏻🍺
  7. I love the ads on here, just read your post and then thought I was looking at a league table below showing Burnley ahead …
  8. What a bloody great player he was for us, my favourite player growing up alongside Walshie!
  9. There last 2 home games they’ve lost 3-1 to Cov and lost 4-0 to Blackburn… Any win will do, another spectacular win on Vichai’s anniversary like we got at Southampton would be wonderful! (I’ve put some money on it too, hehe!).
  10. On what legal footing would that be bought against though?
  11. Bristol really putting Ipswich under the cosh! Unlucky to not be atleast level …
  12. Completely agree. Thought he was outstanding tonight, hope he’s not getting too demoralised with not scoring or assisting, his contribution in the last couple games has been superb 💪🏻
  13. I particularly enjoyed the one where he gave Sunderland a free-kick, they took it about 15 yards further up the pitch, he blew his whistle to make them take it from the correct position, before thinking “**** it” and just let them play on … literally the most ludicrous refereeing performance I’ve seen in a long time, or quite possibly ever tbh!
  14. Brilliant, well done UFS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  15. Shame he didn’t cap his performance with a goal, but was really impressed with him tonight, which I haven’t massively been prior to tonight. Keep it up CC!
  16. Here here, leave room at the bottom of your letter for my signature, I would like to subscribe to your complaint!
  17. Ditto this, looking forward to seeing what Clarke is like as he looks a very good player at this level.
  18. I dunno what the channel was that I watched the game on, but Lee Trundle was commentating and the level of his dillusion and bias towards Swansea was genuinely comical. He was genuinely making out the game was in the balance, when in reality, it would have been an astronomically wasteful performance in the final 3rd for us not to win. We wasted so many great opportunities, and rightfully won the game by a comfortable margin in the end. Thought they were poor tbh.
  19. Exactly where my head is with all of this. How many items from that range are they genuinely gonna sell? I can’t see how it will be remotely worth the effort. Or maybe I’ll be surprised and see a load of fans walking around with rope laces on at our next game!
  20. No, not a link with a new player, but a new line of merch released from the club. Interested in people’s thoughts and, more importantly, if anyone shall be purchasing … KDH looks thrilled!
  21. COME PRESS US THEN, IF YA THINK YA ‘ARD ENOUGH!!
  22. I’m glad someone else spotted, some of our ball boys look like they’re stoned out their heads. Ball rolls past them and they don’t even move. Was good to see the lad run around and give a couple of em a kick up the backside!
  23. I think we’ll see a few changes with this being our 3rd game in just under a week. I think Enzo might go for something like this … Herman Faes Vesty Hamza RickyP Winks Albrighton Casadei Yunus Fatawu Nacho If in the lead at HT, I can see the following changes: JJ for Ricky Coady for Faes Mavididi for Fatawu
  24. Well, it’s been bloomin fantastic hasnt it!! I was worried that with the pre-season we had in Asia, high turnover in players, new manager and completely new style of play we would start slowly!!!!! Don’t get me wrong, we’re still having some teething problems, and will continue to, but I think you can see over the past couple of weeks that we’re starting to get even better. The players are becoming more fluid in their play, confidence has been well and truly restored and it’s a joy to see! I would give us a 9.9/10!
  25. Serious question, does anyone genuinely think that the Premier League and/or Premier League officials, including VAR has been subject to corruption (either in the past or currently)? Some of these decisions are so obscene, it’s beyond gross negligence.
