Girl Taken was definitely weird being filmed in Spain, even indoors they didn't make any effort to make the houses seem English, it just ended up looking a bit strange. I enjoyed the story though!

I'm not sure that anyone is doing either of those things though are they? I'll be honest, I love the monarchy as an institution, particularly Charles and the work he has done over his lifetime to highlight, among other things, climate change and the absolute need for young people to have some kind of purpose. In his case, at least as far as I'm aware, any 'power' he has has always been put to good use. I'm sure there are plenty of examples of abuse of power within the monarchy, but Andrew aside I'm not certain it can be said of any of the existing monarchy, so I don't see why we need to dwell on what has happened in the past. As an aside and more relevant to the thread I'm happy with Charles' statement, regarding Andrew, let the justice system do it's work

It's perfectly possible to be a monarchist but still abhor Andrew for being a contemptible individual

I commented on this on another thread, I think at the time she was convicted, and was ridiculed for casting doubt on her guilt. I'm still not convinced she did it 'beyond a reasonable doubt', I wasn't at the time and everything I've seen since makes me even more unconvinced.

I have first hand experience that AI is definitely taking jobs. I work in customer relations for a global travel agency and AI does so much work now that humans used to do, we have laid people off that have children and mortgages, it's been devastating for them. I feel almost fortunate that I'm coming to the end of my career, and based on the way things are going I wouldn't encourage any of my family to start a career in anything remotely IT based.

Yeah, literally the only people they've stopped it for is themselves, but sadly many still don't understand the implications of it and still think they can rock up in Spain or wherever with their 2 children and start work as a lorry driver the next day

It's bizarre. The Euro and the Schengen area are wonderful things, yet the Brits don't seem to want either. Many don't seem to realise they have lost freedom of movement since Brexit either, given the number of posts I see on the Facebook page where I live from people asking about moving over and finding work, it just isn't really possible any more.
