I had to wade through the flood waters under Blaby Bridge as the bus wouldn't travel through it and I needed to get to Blaby. Totally ridiculous, afew of us got off the bus and had to do it clinging to the side and trying not to get swept away. And the police that were there just let us do it. No other way to get home!.

Personally find it really refreshing seeing Pep struggle. Hes only really ever worked with clubs with money like Barca and Bayern. Trump has pardoned so many criminals when he was president and has said he will pardon all January 6th rioters who stormed the capitol building. Yes it is wrong but the whole system of the president being able to pardoned criminals who have been convicted is totally wrong. It's a total abuse of power which leads to extreme corruption.

After 2016 we all expected to build on that surprise success and establish ourselves as a top six contender we had pretty much everything in place to do that but we squandered the opportunity to do that. The fans saw the potential and what could have been the foundations laid to make us competitive for numerous years after 2016 but it was wasted. We've bounced around from the Premier League and the Championship and have had very high high but also really low lows instead of maintaining and then building a team and a squad to regularly compete with the top of the Premier League.

He been doing it for such a long time and is a match of the day legend but all things come to an end. He still has a lot of work with other channels and other projects he can do. Doing something so long it does get a bit stale and things now and again need freshening up. Obviously he gets a lot of stick for his political views and maybe the bbc thought that was becoming more and more of a distraction. He's been extremely lucky to have been paid millions for something he loves to do and has had a great footballing and broadcasting career.

Great to see Mark Cavendish win his final ever race in the Tour de france criterium in Singapore. Its been amazing to watch his career over the years and for him to get the record number of stage wins in the Tour de france. He had a number of tough years with illness and injuries but he's come through all that to be a British cycling legend.
