  1. Different cruise companies suit different people, depending on their circumstances and what they need and want from a cruise. Family entertainment and activities or quiet and relaxing? So, It's difficult to say. Plus, you can book different levels of experience within each company to suit your cruise style and budget. I happily pay extra to be in a separate section of the ship (MSC Yacht Club) and avoid being with lots of people The length of cruise, newness of the ship, destination and time of year all significantly impact price too. I got a quote last year for a friend, 7 nights on a new ship, going to Norway. It was more than I was paying for 28 nights on a slightly older ship for a repositioning cruise.
  2. I was never a morning person, and wondered the same. I'm 50 now and nothing has changed. I rarely set an alarm and usually wake up between 8am and 9am, and then it's a good hour and at least 2 coffees before I'm awake.
  3. Yes. No reply as yet. It's still not working today.
  4. Nope. I'm on the jigsaw cycle too.
  5. I've got tippex. I could've sorted that.
  6. Which we all know is absolute tosh. I've been charged £25 and have had a new plastic card issued. I had a perfectly good card that could've just been reactivated, like every other year. I'm very pleased to see the uptake of physical tickets so high, despite the charge. Plus, there must be another 5-6k in concessions and kids.
  7. He's travelled and he's in the training photos.
  8. I'm now going straight to the 'how was your day' thread to discover @Daggersreporting that his wife has filed for divorce
  9. Indeed. The best player in the world, in recent years, one Leo Messi, is a veritable pipsqueak. It's not hindered him.
  10. For once, it would suit me if that moves from the Saturday.
  11. Very. Evidently. It shouldn't be but we've made it so.
  12. If the house needs work a £20 B&Q voucher would be a useful and generous gift. If not, upgrade the lambrini to Prosecco and job done. They should be having the party to celebrate their new home with friends, it's not about gifts.
  13. That's sorted my parents Christmas present. Cheers!
  14. Definitely. They'll have themselves on Ebay by Christmas.
  15. The SE phones were a few years later, for me. I've probably still got a couple of those, too.
  16. None of these issue in the old days, when we all just had a Nokia 3310.
  17. I never expected that Daggers 'sliding into my DM's' could be the highlight of my day I've still got a Blackberry somewhere, if you fancy a change of fruit. How was it that a few years ago, everything phone related sounded more like a picnic? You had Apple and Blackberry phones, the operating systems for Android were all Ice Cream Sandwich, Gingerbread or Jellybean.
  18. @DaggersI seriously think the best solution is the swap I previously proposed, that I give you a Golden Delicious, or apple variety of your choice, and I'll take the Fold 6 off you
  19. So, in addition to the goal from Coady, which actually turned out to be Mavidi, the OG wasn't Ndidi but was, in fact Souttar. Easy to confuse those
  20. We had 6 days in Avignon and Provence last month and would wholeheartedly agree. A beautiful region to visit too.
  21. I'll happily swap you an apple for your Z Fold 6 😁
  22. If it was cancelled a second time due to a technical fault, it's the delay from that time to the time you actually travelled, I think. We had a flight cancelled, actually it was cancelled 3 times over 3 days, and I followed the resolver process on MoneySavingExpert.com.
  23. Given the state of the roads, speed bumps, parked cars and road works in most urban areas it's very unusual to drive over 20mph!
  24. Fairly sure the IRA have, in its old form, too. The graffiti folks need to be more specific. Are they the Continuity IRA, the Provisional IRA or the Real IRA. Might be others available! Either way, and aside from my facetiousness, clearly written by tw@ts!
  25. This always sounds sinister to me. And, an old person, I'm unsure why any of the above aren't covered by can you send me a text or email, please.
