Watched Amelie the other day for the first time. I generally like French cinema, so not sure why it took me so long. For a film that seems to have been universally praised by all and sundry, I thought it was extremely disappointing. Yes the cinematography is great and the first half of the film is watchable enough, but the last hour of the film really drags. As for Amelie herself, quite possibly one of the most irritating characters ever imo. I got sick of the sight of her ‘cheeky little grins’ to the camera and the film should have ended with her being pushed under the metro. Feel good film, my bum bum.

Seen some bad Man Utd teams during the last decade and I did n’t think they could play a worst central midfield than McTominary and Fred. Casemiro and Eriksen in their dotage could certainly give them a run for their money. 🤣

Just finished Squid Game 2 and although I enjoyed the last episode, overall I found it a bit underwhelming. Think I prefer Alice In Borderland out of the two South Asian ‘death game ‘series.

I just don't think Joyce is a heavier enough scorer, to beat someone like Littler over seven sets. We shall see.

I cut my right hand index finger yesterday and had to put a plaster on it. 24 hrs later still have a vivid red line through the top of my pinkie, which means I can’t use it to gain digital access to various on line accounts.
