Tragic. Perhaps some sort of GoFundMe appeal? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-68133873

Sadly the entire Justice system is underfunded including the Probation Service, Prison Service and the Courts. I work in the courts and the backlog is horrendous.

Yes remember flicking cards. I also played throwing football coins against a wall and the winner was the boy that threw the coin closest to that wall and he would walk away with all of the coins thrown. I cannot remember where those coins came from!

Murder in Boston, 3 part Sky doc. Very interesting study of racism within Boston and how the black community were treated as a result of this murder.

They could both pass for men or women.

Agreed, spent what seemed like hours trying to knock them out of the trees! Don’t see kids out playing hopscotch either.

I have a bottle of advocaat in my fridge right now and surely they still sell Black Magic no?

He’s completely spineless, he might have run against him, but I don’t remember him directly criticising Trump. He’s probably hoping he gets a job off him.

It’s sports washing pure and simple. Why on earth would any serious football fan be interested in watching their Mickey Mouse league.

Anyone old enough to remember ‘All in the game’ a football competition shown on ITV in the 70,s that comprised of fitness and skills events such as beat the goalie and free kicks over a wall that were then put in a basket by the keeper. I think half a dozen First Division clubs(inc Leicester)and some Scottish teams took part. The legends that were Dickie Davies and Brian Moore were the hosts. I can’t find a clip unfortunately!

Yes the opening episode of the True Detective has a slightly Fortitude feel to it and I loved Fortitude!

American Nightmare, 3 part docu on Netflix. Absolutely bizarre case and once again US Law Authorities don’t come out of it too well.

The deceit, lies and sheer vindictiveness shown by the senior officials in the Post Office should result in criminal prosecutions. Sadly corporate criminality is rarely punished. The game is severely rigged.

Poor Jordan, did he not like the desert heat? -
On the BBC News this morning they interviewed a Trump supporter, who had just cast his vote and said he could not understand how anyone else would not vote for Trump. It really does not bear thinking about the damage he could cause if re-elected.

Watched the second episode and quite like these kind of black comedies, chaotic but has a certain kind of charm.

Inflicting your musical tastes on other people in public is narcissistic and frankly scummy. The amount of times I have been on a train and some tosser has been playing their music, sans earphones and I have had to resist the impulse to rip the phone out of their hands and stamp on it. Mine you I do have quite low tolerance!! 🤬

The game is rigged sadly. Unless you have money and influence, although then you probably wouldn’t be battling it, you would be part of it.

I know what you mean. There are certain players’ throws I like and dislike. I admire Peter Wright’s precision in his action, like he has his elbow fixed on a table. I used to love Jocky Wilson’s (showing my age) idiosyncratic throw, particularly when he jumped off his feet and yet still found the 60 bed! I don’t like Joe Cullen’s action, as I cannot work out how he aims his darts! Brendan Dolan’s action also irritates me, it looks like throw and pray! It is very exciting to watch players capable of hitting the turbo, particularly when it’s close. For that reason and because he seems like a nice guy Humphries is very watchable.

Most incredible match I have ever seen. Sorry for Dobey, but you can see why Cross has already won this tournament.

I would like to see a Littler v Dobey semi final, as it will be interesting to see how the youngster reacts when put under real pressure. These two guys for me have so far been the stand outs.
