  1. Dire game, but at beginning of the season if I was offered 4 points against Man City without conceding I would have chewed your hand off!
  2. Strata Homes.
  3. Moving to new build house next week in Beverley.
  4. Ha, I thought someone would mention the 10-2 massacre! It would be a relief to get that monkey off our back and ensure Kane does not progress to the semi finals. Surely not good for German football that Bayern have such a monopoly on the Bundesliga either. About time someone else stepped up, so come on Leverkusen. šŸ¤ž
  5. Will be delighted to dump Kane out of the tournament! 😁
  6. We can agree to disagree.
  7. This is really just your opinion, he seems popular enough with the other players. He speaks well and with modesty and is a great darts player, what else do you want from him?
  8. Humphries comes across as a decent bloke and I find his interviews more interesting than those of say Michael Smith, or Aspinall and I have nothing against them either. He is a phenomenal dart player, surely that’s really all that counts.
  9. But what is it that she has actually done wrong? I just don’t understand the so called scandal!
  10. A miracle that he is still alive tbh.
  11. Or hear ā€œBully’s special prizeā€. Such an 80’s icon along with Sid Waddell.
  12. That’s a good thing. He needs to be beat at the ballot box and hopefully that will finally be the end of him. Disgusting pos that he is.
  13. I absolutely take your point. 🤣
  14. Thing is we are leaving our property at the end of the month and are awaiting their re-billing. We have only now heard back from them, because we complained to the ombudsman. We still owe them a fair bit, but only half of what they originally said. Just think the £75 compo is a bit of a laugh for the difficulties involved in contacting them and trying to resolve it before we leave, plus their obscene profits of course. 😭
  15. Yes of course the whole point of juries is to be objective and not subjective and for jurors to weigh up the evidence in their minds and not be intimidated by others. I would like to think that juries reach the correct verdict in the vast majority of cases, but I have seen enough bizarre jury verdicts (particularly in the US) to wonder how on earth they reached their decision . Is it a better system than a qualified Judge and 3 lay Judges as in Sweden I wonder?
  16. I work for MOJ, what do you think the main issues are in terms of juries, for someone like me who has not watched the programme?
  17. British Gas, joke of a company. We have been mis billed (if that’s a word) twice recently to the tune of Ā£764, effectively doubling our outstanding bill! This has gone on for months. They would like to pay us a Ā£75 goodwill payment in acknowledgment . That’s like me offering someone 10p in compensation.
  18. Attica on Prime. Powerful documentary on the 1971 prison riot in up state New York. Basically state sponsored mass murder sanctioned by Nelson Rockefeller and Richard Nixon. Pretty graphic and not for the faint hearted.
  19. Come on now( best Wayne Mardle voice) I have Kilman in my team so banking on a Wolves clean sheet!
  20. Not sure Jackson looks great either!
  21. Sadly in Russia where it matters, I can't see his death changing anything for the better. I would love to be proved wrong of course.
  22. Better a living symbol than a dead one surely.
  23. Watched the final episode of True Detective Night Country. The ending was so left field and ludicrous, that it for me ruined what had up until that point been a very watchable claustrophobic drama.
  24. You are right, it is a warts and all from the Israeli perspective. Thing is, at least two of the main actors including the Doron character have taken part in Israeli actions, since the Hamas attack and one of them the guy who played Sagi was seriously injured demolishing tunnels last month. It is quite a unique scenario and to say it blurs the line between fiction and reality is an understatement.
  25. Enjoyed watching it at the time ( about a year ago). Would find it more difficult to watch now because of current events.
