  1. Time's up. Big big next appointment.
  2. Probably about right with what's available I think.
  3. Their results have been super patchy. Think this will be a very low quality match, won by whoever makes the fewest mistakes.
  4. This season is looking a bit of a write off. If Leeds did chop Farke I'd go for him. Built up a team with a good attitude there and at Norwich, and Leeds scored for fun last year. Probably not a Prem manager but not a concern for us in the short term.
  5. I'm wary of who we'd employ if we did sack him but he's running out of leeway. Think if Farke becomes available I'd make the switch.
  6. Think it would have been much worse to throw men forward second half and end up losing 6-1. The game was gone.
  7. Thought we were largely decent until the first goal. Should have been offside but we've got to react better to it. So mentally fragile. Game is still in the balance there but we'd gone. Aluko second challenge very silly. Hopefully he learns from it. Giving away sloppy free kicks all over the pitch. Ref is partly to blame again as we don't seem to be getting similar given against us, but it's causing us tons of problems. Faes awful. Fatawu awful. Just got to try and keep it at 3 in the second half.
  8. That on Fatawu was no less than what they got the free kick for that lead to the first
  9. I thought it was better than is being made out on here to be honest. It wasn't scintillating but I think we're still at the building up confidence stage. The passing out from the back was a bit nervy but did lead to a few promising situations once we'd beat the press, and I thought we put in good work for both goals.
  10. I don't think it actually affected the outcome but feel like standing offside right in front of the goal should just always be offside. Really difficult to claim no interference because the keeper may claim they are anticipating a touch from the player. City been much the better side here anyway. Doku had a decent breakfast I think.
  11. To be fair I think the commentator during the Blackburn game said we hadn't conceded a set piece this season. I don't like it much myself either but we don't have super fast players for a counter and maybe making sure we don't concede is at least a positive?
  12. Surely the worst thing to do in this situation is nothing?
  13. Potential points deduction doesn't give us the freedom to have what appears to be an average manager at best. The striker point is misleading as we aren't creating chances for them, there was one falling to Carranza in the box yesterday but a lot of the "chances" we create are set pieces aimed at our defenders. I liked the appointment on the face of it given the club's situation, and he said all the right things initially, but it hasn't materialised and I don't think he is getting anywhere near the best out of this squad of players.
  14. It is. That screen grab is second half stats only.
  15. We could get relegated, but I don't think we will. Probably around mid table. This depends a bit on how big the deduction is and when it hits though. A 10 points hit in a couple of weeks could well drop us onto the relegation zone and we are mentally very very weak. I don't know if we'd be up for the fight.
  16. Skipp. It made zero sense at the time; spending big when we were skint, position we didn't need to recruit, seemingly an average player (that appears to have been optimistic). Just the worst signing.
  17. Probably the biggest disappointment this season in terms of where he is versus what we know he can deliver in this league. Really need him to find his swagger again.
  18. With the impending deduction one thing we'd have needed to be on with a chance of autos was a season like this where there weren't runaway top 2 or 3. We've ****ed up what was a get out of jail free card for us.
  19. No. Holding on to shit players for too long has been our downfall.
  20. Looks a very decent save on the replay. Think he'd put that away if he was a little more confident though.
  21. I remember their "say hello to Millwall" chants and glee outside the ground when we were relegated a couple of seasons ago. Would love them to go down.
  22. I wouldn't get rid yet, at all. I'm not at all confident we get someone better in and I think the upheaval would be unhelpful. Not to mention the financial difficulties and another manager payoff. However, he needs his actions to start matching his words. It seems everything he says on interview and post match comments is just lip service. Let's see the team who tries to score a second and third, let's see the aggressive pressing. Because so far it's only been in patches and we've looked mostly timid. This division will chew us up and spit us out unless we're more aggressive.
  23. We look so physically weak. Everyone looks knackered.
  24. These fringe players will have to start some games in these 3 game weeks. I think ultimately whether this is a good or bad week will depend on our /9 total on Saturday evening.
  25. It's a decent fit and will stabilise them, think he suits the players they have. Mind you they've spent a chunk of money sacking two managers to end up with a worse manager.
