Tense day but not as dramatic as it could have been. Need a Boro goal to give a bit of interest in the playoffs race. -

Looks tough for Luton from here. -
I do think this will be causing some concern for the PL. On the one hand they've got the closed shop they wanted, but it has devalued the "product" as it were. Should start to introduce some simple things to rectify it, maybe allowing newly promoted clubs more freedom on loans or something would be a sensible start.

Skipp will be one of the better players on the Champ next season. It was a terrible purchase, at a terrible price, but in that division he will be one of the better players.
-
Wissa you beautiful man!

Keane Lewis-Potter sounds like somebody who's dad doesn't know how to fill in a form properly.
-
Loving it!

People need to stop the doom-mongering. Sheff Weds are midtable with players like Barry Bannan and Stuart Armstrong in centre mid.

Can't see the Chelsea move materialising. It seems like a sensible connection with Enzo but neither Enzo or KDH have gone down particularly well there. I think they'd be weary about taking a keeper from us who has spent a decent amount of time out and not shone upon returning.

Saints (H) Pre-match - The El Shatico

That feels about right, more likely to win than Saints but also more likely not to win. A battle of two awful teams with terrible stats, odds marginally favouring the home team. Saints haven't won since the start of Feb, but that was against Ipswich which feels like a fair comparison to us. That is their only away win so far. The bar is so low for us I'm just hoping that we score. -

They're not with the bookies though, and I don't think you can count 18 games as "form". Both teams are terrible, obviously. Given we have only played the other promoted clubs away so far I think this will probably be the first one. Maybe Wolves at home given they were pretty poor at the time? -

Is this the first game of the season we'll have gone into as favourites? -
Not sure which club would see it as good business this season who wouldn't have taken him on a free last.
-
Yeh with the title now done, a Spurs destruction would be the next funniest option.
-
Yep. They've filled the studio with Liverpool pundits ready for the celebration. Would be great is Spurs delayed the inevitable.

Doesn't look like it: SERIOUS FOUL PLAY A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play. Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.
-
Feels dirty to say it, but a Spurs win would actually be really funny today.
-
Intent doesn't matter. It's either dangerous or not.
-
Might be in my own, but not sure the accidental nature should let him off. Was dangerous.
-
No.

Wolves have probably had the season we should have had 2 years ago. Slow start, manager sacked, turned it around to survive comfortably thanks to some good quality. If we'd got rid of Rodgers early enough I think that could have been us.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

An absolutely woeful manager. -
I think it's much less certain he gets the move he wants given his performances since the injury. We're certainly looking at a much lower fee even if he does, but I don't think it's a guarantee that he leaves now.

I think the best hope for 200 is that we manage one good game against either Southampton or Ipswich.
