Goals off the post instantly looks even better. What a hit. Only would have been better if it had been underside of the bar rather than post.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Number 6 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It definitely may prove to be a costly gamble. One of the downsides of the points deduction penalties is that each punished will be affected differently. I can see why we've tried to kick the can town the road. Of course, while we had successfully done that we should have been getting the finances in order at the same time. -

Given we've ultimately been proven correct on that matter then it would seem odd to attribute blame to us for any delays. -

The delay this season was due to the PL challenging the independent decision wasn't it? Not an LCFC challenge. -

It would be such abject incompetency to push through the KDH/Golding sales without having some sort of financial fudge in place there to aid PSR compliance. -

Could see this happening. One of the benefits of the joined up approach and expedited rulings is that punishments get dished out at the same time. Surely any punishments for 23/24 should have happened by now, and certainly within this season? Would be odd for us to get the punishment a year later, though sure the leagues would push for that given it would have minimal impact on us this season. -
LCFC 2-0 Ipswich, post-match thread

Yep, people point to how poor our season and Ipswich's have been, but we've got more points than Burnley did last season. Sheffield Utd finished their Prem season on 16 points, but were comfortably 3rd this season. Luton very much the anomaly rather than a sign of what to expect. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I think this is a bit misleading. They clearly overachieved last year, so we're starting from a lower base than we were this season - hence a somewhat necessary investment. And we spent £50m+ ourselves. The star from their investment was dropped, probably partly as McKenna now has an eye on next season. They're significantly weaker without Delap though. I think it will probably end up being a good thing for McKenna that he didn't jump at a big job last summer, as he seems to fit Ipswich well, but if I was to select one of the two to lead us next season then it wouldn't be Ruud. -
Against one of the toughest teams we'll face next season and I thought he was great. Hope we see lots of him next year.

It would be absolutely bizarre to sack now with one game to go, come on. Just get Bournemouth out of the way, then he and we can part ways, as may be best for all concerned.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Think he'd be a useful squad player in the Champ to be honest. We'll potentially be losing a few senior members of the squad and don't think it would be bad having him around. That said, he may want away anyway. -
Fair play to Winks for travelling up for it.

Clearing deadwood needs to happen whoever we get in. You can hire a manager who is tactically astute and still have a squad clear out, you don't need to hire a dinosaur to do it.

Delighted that both the league cup and FA cup have gone to fans who it will mean so much to.

Very little imagination in this City forward line.

I'm glad football is more considerate of head injuries, but this current system of stopping play is so open to abuse. If it's stopped for a head injury you should have to go off for 5 mins for assessment.

Gonna be VARd

No need to make that tackle.

Have been critical of Palace lacking ambition since they were promoted, but would much rather they win this than City. Need to see the big 6 get their noses bloodied more often. Great goal too.
-
Not buying this. Wasn't like he was given loads of game time by Enzo and Chelsea have sufficient pull to either buy someone else, or wait a year.
-
Looking forward to the scenes when the nice round 500 games, 200 goals dream is ended by Vardy scoring his 201st in injury time 😁
-
Could be particularly bad as it would make it much more difficult to catch people offside as a defence, and this more teams may defend deep. Though admittedly quite a lot do this already.

It's like we've not learned from last year: "the chaos at Forest wasn't Cooper, it was the owner's doing". To now: "Dyche only played that rancid style with granddads at Everton and Burnley because of the circumstances he was in at those clubs". Sure he's gonna come in and start inverting full backs for us 🙄

Thought it was pretty gross that they forced him to continue to be honest. ****ed up the sub which they could have altered, and decided to punish Awoniyi for it. Should have considered his safety first and played out the remainder with 10, which they sort of effectively were anyway.
